Remarks
The college was strict in discipline so students can focussed in their study. Also there are three internal exams so students had good revision so they must have to focus and ready for regular readings. So that they can easily crack competitive exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses of all semesters were predefined and they followed very well. In first two semester we have to take the knowledge of all the fields like electrical, mechanical, civil, computer etc. The purpose of these subjects are just to get the basic knowledge of all the core diciplines. There are three internal writen exams and one external exam. Also one viva was there in curriculum.
Placement Experience
The college has very good reputation correspondence to the company placement CS AND CHEMICAL branch having 100% placement. Other then those branches there were good placement. Companies like Lnt, Linde, infosys, GSPL etc are coming for requirement. In the last semester college provides training for increase the practical knowledge of students.
College Events
Technofest, cultural meet, sports day, orientation, farewell, convocation, festivals like janmashtmi , diwali etc. In the technofest all the colleges of gujarat are invited for participation. in convocation all the qualified students got theur degrees.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There are two parts GIA and self finance. In GIA the tution fees was around 1500 rs per year and in self finance the fees was around 1,30,000 ra per year.so we can say that it is quitw good to take admission in GIA.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the students having poor financial condition they were providing scholarship of 5000 rs per year and also they provides book of each semester for good study.also there were other director scholarship for intelligent students having poor fonancial condion.
Campus Life
Yes there is big sports ground along with sport complex. So both indoor and outdoor activities were very good in the college. All the instruments required for games are available. So the students can concentrate on their studies after playing sports.
Alumni/Alumna
They made the group and get together of alumni students. They provides information for living the college to new comers so that new students faces less difficulty in their graduation. They also provides book and equipments used in the subjects to juniors.
Admission
I have passed four semesters (11th and 12th). After that i gave the JEE exam. Then the merit rank generated based on these exams. Merit rank generated acoounted by 40% weightage of JEE and 60% of all semesters marks. After that ACPC process took place and i got admission in DHARMSINH DESAI UNIVERSITY.
Faculty
The faculties were well qualified and having a good knowledge of their specialization subjects. Also they were very humble and very polite while taching or aolving doubts. They had good friendly nature so students can ask them any questions without any hesitation.
