College is good compared to other colleges in Pune recently there was an issue regarding teacher pay but it is all sorted now.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, our curriculum is updated and practically useful we have been introduced to Python in the first year as it is a prominent language in Industry. SKNCOE has a great faculty for computer engineering. Attendance compulsory up to 75% mandatory building is close to SCOE so good crowd and activities.

Placement Experience

Placement is good almost 80-85% students got placed others did not qualify for the interview criteria which is like 6-7 cgpa .

College Events

Karandak the biggest event in Pune which also co-hosts tectonic, the banyan tree, Neon, Spectrum and EDM night which once hosted the famous band Chainsmokers. Also, activities happen all year as there are lots of student available, good facility for stage and sitting.

Fee Structure And Facilities

102000 this is yearly fees for the general category for other lower caste fees is reduced accordingly. Hostel and Mess is 65000 RS which include 4 people shared room one bed one table one rack common toilet bathroom hot water electricity WiFi in the hostel

Campus Life

Best campus life as there are many colleges so a lot of students vibrant atmosphere gender ratio is like 60-40 male to a female there is lot of diversity as people from all over India also from foreign countries come here to study. the competition takes place regularly like debates robotics Competitive Coding etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni Network is the very strong one of the alumni who went on to found a company recruits 11 students from the college every year. Also one is a national level hacker who always comes for guidance to young students.

Admission

Admission through centralised procedure 15% reserved for JEE entries remaining entries through MH CET there are 10-15% seats for management quota which are available through a various middleman or through the office . The fees for Open category is 102000 RS for a year. Hostel and mess 65000 RS.

Experienced faculty with sound knowledge of their respective subject. Best faculty for computer and IT department they help you with all aspects of your life very friendly and cultured people. They encourage you to take part in extracurricular activities as well as motivate to sit in lectures.

An Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

Actually I applied to various colleges but due to slightly less percentage than the cut-off Didn't get admission anywhere else for my desired branch. The college life i have.....

Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges.
