Remarks

Overall an average College with all average facilities and 4/5 rated placement facilities . Academic record ain't very bad compared to similar colleges likewise the infrastructure . Faculty being the lowest rated according to me .

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It's was a 4 year course , semester wise it was 8 semester and exam for first and second semester was together at the end of first year and thereafter exam was held semester wise (every 6 months). The syllabus which I studied was updated the same year we joined so the curriculum included some of the latest on going topics that helps the students to thrive in the present wolrd

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement at time was very poor but subsequently over the years it has improved a lot and now the situation is very good as per some of my juniors with whom I have contact. Internship isn't provided by the college for UG courses but PG it does and about stipend I'm not aware of it .

College Events

2

There are lots of programs celebrated in college over an academic year which includes Tech Fest Arts Festival College Day Celebration College Union Day Celebration Onam Festival Ramadan Festival Christmas Festival

Fee Structure And Facilities

In the year 2012-2016 Government seat 35000/year Management seat 70000/year NRI quota 100000/year This was the tution fee at those days later it was reduced by a subsequent amount. Other than tution fee , examination fee is to be paid for every exam .

Fees and Financial Aid

The college itself has a branch of a local cooperative bank inside it's campus , which can help you to avail the education loan scheme available and approved by the government of India and government of Kerala

Campus Life

3.5

Labs are mostly well equipped and good , although there isn't a much well developed ground we do have a big ground where in our students conduct various sports competition over the year , also we hold competition like Cricket football at various other grounds in the locality

Hostel Facilities

2

My College doesn't provide hostel facility for boys but College has a women's hostel which is very much feasible and infrastructure wise too it is good , as it was build just I'm the year 2015 or around .

Alumni/Alumna

There are regular alumni meetings held at our campus and at times abroad where in most of our alumnus work , senior students often do contribute to the various programmes organised by the college every year .

Admission

I have appeared for the Kerala State engineering entrance examination (KEAM) , based on the rank I got I have applied for various institutions , after that government conducted allotment process and I was alloted to this college. Once it was confirmed I contacted the college and went to the college with all the necessary documents and secured my seat.

Faculty

2

I won't rate them 5/5 I mean there were teachers whom should be rated 5, but most of them were average and some even below average . Some of the teachers during my course wasn't permanent staffs but contract based ones who weren't that great with what they did.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
