There are options for availing certificates from world’s top universities like the Wharton School of UPenn, USA. These the additional certificates which the students can complete online and after the completion of which we will be awarded the certificate with the grade scored by us (depending on the quizzes and answers submitted). This is a unique opportunity to have best of the names of the colleges written on our resumes. There is no doubt all such courses require us to work very hard and get us into the habit taking perspective of out profs into consideration who the main guiding source and also troubleshoot if we have questions while perusing these certificate programs. I remember an incident when my laptop broke down one of my faculty (who was not even in charge of the course) gave me his laptop to complete the course and also a new laptop issued to me from IT Centre

The university has a lot to offer to the students, particularly on the career building front. The university has a centre for communications and critical thinking which helps us to prepare for personal interviews and group discussions. Before I came to the university, I was a shy person who shuddered at the thought of giving interviews. However, after participating in the workshops conducted by the guest faculty and professions in this space- I have evolved a lot. The center also helps us with resume making and cover letters. This is very important especially for a person who hails from non-English speaking background. The salary offered by the organizations who participate in the placement drive is very good if we compared it with other universities across Rajasthan and outside. The best thing is getting a good placement while you do not have to spend a hefty amount on your tuition fee. The average package at JKLU is 5 lakhs which very decent deal!

we celebrate events like jklu Laureate Award in which the famous personalities of India are given this award for their outstanding performance towards Indian society and for its welfare. it is a very high-level programme which is participated by many big personalities.

the fee submitted by me was around 3lakhs for the tuitions. I deposited around a lakh for the hostel. They take the fee in all forms, the accounts department even accepts cash. The admin even helped in opening the account with the bank which is on campus.

There is an IDBI Bank in the university premises where many of the students have their accounts so that they avail all the banking services within just 5 minutes of walk. There is also an ATM, it supports the withdrawal of money from all the ATM cards. This is a huge relief for us as we not have travel or leave the university premises to access the banking services. Otherwise withdrawing and carrying cash outside the university is a risky affair. Our parents also relieved that their children easily withdraw the money when they transfer it to us.

Earlier the hostellers used to face a tough time for washing their clothes. We did not have any facility to wash clothes. All that we could do was either give our clothes for laundry outside to the vendor to whom we paid every time or wash the clothes all by ourselves. Now we have a laundry room in our university where there is a number of fully automatic machines kept. We have to pay Rs. 45 per wash every time. That’s all! Our life has become a lot easier now. We students do not have to depend on the external agent to do the washing now. Whenever we are free with the classes or in the evening, we wash out clothes in the washing machines.

I applied to JKLU in the month of February when the admissions had just started in February. I was called by the admissions team to visit the campus and understand the things and look around the campus. The staff was very polite to me and while I was anxious during the whole process.

We have a lot of faculty who keep nudging us to work upon our strengths and build onto them rather than focusing on our weakness and keep getting demotivated. The faculty at JKLU is not your conventional profs who come to college and deliver the lecture fort the sake of duty and then go back after blurting out some assignments. We are blessed to have profs who are actively engaged in our progress and do a lot of out of class interactions on how can one keep upgrading their interest area, the latest happenings in the respective fields, the area where there is the scope of improvement and good chances of growth. Overall, I am have moved by the hard work of the profs who sacrifice their family and personal time to help us get out of the confusion and develop a rock-solid will and character which is integral to a successful life
