Remarks

No one gets to know what is happening in the college about extra curricular activities. That's the only disadvantage from the college side. And there is no proper information provided regardinh to holidays from the college

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The cirriculum is a bit old and also teaching is also at average level. The exam is conducted as follows: 3 CIE for 20 marks in which best 2 is selected and then that is evaluated for 50 marks including 10 marks for assignment and quiz. After that 100 marks exam for semester exams which is converted to 50 and the total is evaluated

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes there is a good opportunity for placement and also most of the good companies come to our college, around 4 to 10 LPA. They also give opportunities for internship and they provide very good training skills for the placement

College Events

3

All the national events are celebrated like independence day, republic day, Kannada rajyotsava and Gandhi jayanthi. We also have many clubs in which they conduct literary, science, technical events in the college

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible if you are from merit and expensive if you are from management. For merit students it is around 60000 to 70000 and for management seats it is aroud 100000 and 500000. The payments of the fees is done at the starting of the year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship are MHRD,Vidyasiri, Syndicate bank offers loans for the students and there is a privilege for merit students if they score good in the branch like topper of the branch get a sum of 20000.

Campus Life

4

Yes there are labs for all the branches, they take us for zones and inter zones from the college. They take for VTU for fest which is for all the colleges of Karnataka and the sports club offers students for active participation.

Hostel Facilities

3

No I haven't opted for hostel. The infrastructure is ok for boys and is good for girls. There is a problem of mosquitoes and there is a danger of snakes. The food is not that good in the hostel and also there is no ragging in the hostel

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are in contact through clubs from our college. We have different clubs in different streams. The seniors are in contact only through the club groups and they help us if we have any discrepancies about the topic

Admission

I had gone through management quota through the member of mce. My father had paid the donation and he made me to admit to the computer science branch. They asked for documents of 10th and 12th marks card, score of CET of Karnataka and also basic details of mine

Faculty

3.5

They are friendly and have a good knowledge on the subject. They basically get text books and on ppts and teach us what ever there is in the textbook. The teachers are on the time to class and also don't let anyone out during class hours

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
