Remarks

Positive - they are giving almost interest and attention to the academics and studies of students. All help in that area is assured. Negative - the fun element in our college is missing, mainly because the college is obsessed with everyone's grades and is only into that. There is only very little time to mingle with others.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is a little stressful and so is the class hours, that is from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The syllabus is also equally hard. So to achieve good scores a student must revise the portions a very regular basis.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement in our college is the one of the best thing about our college as about 86% of a batch of about 750 students are getting placed each year. Many companies from about the country approach our college for placements each year. The students are trained on how to attend an interview in the college itself. Placement classes are also provided. The companies select students on the basis of the total marks of the students and their performance in the placement test and interview.

College Events

3.5

Our doesn't host many events every year. But there will be one technical and cultural fest every year. 'Bharatham' is the name of the cultural fest in our college which is conducted every year. It includes various cultural events like dance and music and also various other events like quiz and debates and photography contests etc. 'Abhiyanthriki' is the name of the tech fest in our college. It is conducted every 2 years. It is one of the best in our state. 'Tekshetra' is the other tech fest in the college. The two tech fests are conducted every alternate years. There is also a sports day where all sorts of games and athletic competitions are conducted for the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees to study in our college is 85,000Rs annually. It is a little high when compared to other government colleges. But I think it is worth the money as the infrastructure of our college is the best I have seen so far. But for those who cannot afford this money but excel in their, the state government is providing financial support.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college makes sure that the students who achieve an 'O' grade, i.e, the outstanding grade in all subjects including the labs, they get an amount of 25000Rs. Also for the ones with all 'A's also get an amount of 6000Rs or 5000Rs. They are also providing rewards for the full attendance people. The scholarship is given by the government for those who apply and has no back papers.

Campus Life

4.5

The labs are extremely good and well maintained with very experienced lab staffs and teachers. The labs have the latest machines and devices available. They are also very carefully and very well maintained. But the college doesn't support other extracurricular activities. Even though we have teams in all games, they do not get enough training. But they do take us for university competitions.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I'm a day scholar, but I've stayed at the hostel once and from that I know that the infrastructure is good, but the food in the girls hostel is not that good. The hostel fee is very high and is almost the same as the college fee. We get vegetarian and non vegetarian food from hostel. The men's hostel which is a new building is extremely good. Even the food is very good. But at the same time it is very expensive.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni network in our college is one of our college's strength. The group is very strong and has people at every corner of the earth, literally. As it has people in almost every genre of profession they could definitely offer us a lot of help us with our career. They conduct meetings in our college very often. They've even given us their personal numbers if we wanted to call them and ask for help with what to in our career next and as they have the contacts of many people and they can probably connect us to the ones with similar interests.

Admission

Attended the kerala entrance examination and got good scores. Then applied to the college. I got shortlisted and was called to the college on a particular day. I was asked to submit my school pass out and 12th grade certificates. And then I had to attend an interview before I got the admission.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of our college is very experienced. They give us tips on how a university exam is to faced. They teach us how to attend examinations. The practical exams are also conducted by then in a very strict environment. They are very helpful and are willing to help any student who approach them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
