It's good for commerce stream students

Positive about the college is that now its also start a new Course PG(Post Graduation) and infrastructure of the college are now good and also its has best reputation among any other colleges in Rourkela. Negative about the college is that here's faculties are not teaching well in college and also here is not any good place or canteen to eat. But overall its the best college in Rourkela.

Course Curriculum is actually good. In my course B. Com its is for 3 years and every year there is 2 semester, means total of 6 semesters. But its not necessary that they take 2 semester every year, in my cash 1st year- 1 semester, 2nd year - 2 semesters and in the 3rd year - Rest of 3 semesters.

There is no campus placement or any good job opportunities. To get a better good, better to study further. I heard around 4 years ago there a local small company came for placement but the salary was too low not even Rs 10000

Annual function celebrated every year, i attend 2 times and it's good. And freshers party are the the best, but sad for farewell not every student give the farewell. At the time of election there were many parties given by candidate and it was always awesome.

Feasible. Municipal College Rourkela is the 2nd lowest fees charging college in Rourkela. But some time the staff member of the college take few extra money of around Rs 100. I don't know why the take the extra money from student but they said it's necessary.

No scholarship or loan facility provided by the college. Our college Rourkela Municipal College didn't provide any kind of this facility, however i also study +2 from the same college i.e. Municipal College Rourkela, i received a Laptop from Odisha Government for scoring more than 70%

There are many activities. Sports activities held in college that i know is Cricket, badminton and Football. There is also a gym in Boys common room but maximum time that room is closed. I enjoyed very much at that gym.

They didn't come to college unnecessarily. General they came at the exam day, annual function, sports day and at the time for elections, they came and do some activities for the voting. They work so hard for the election.

When my name come in Merit list i simply fill the admission form and make the payment at cash counter of the college. When i go to the Cas cash counter i took me 2 hours for the payment because of the crowd.

Not good, they didn't teach any well, Infact its waste to study from that faculty. Better to join couching classes. Before the examination all faculties came and teach and give important questions, but before that there and no certain timing that when will they take class.
