Remarks

Overall a pretty good college for BTech in CSE and ECE. There is also a section of MECHATRONICS which is the only one of its kind in Telangana. For other branches like MECH, CIVIL, EEE I wouldn’t suggest MGIT

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is the normal BTech similar to other colleges, but MGIT is affiliated to JNTUH which deciedes curriculum and sets all the end semesters question paper and corrects them, which is very much similar to our school board exams.

Placement Experience

Our college provides internships after completing 6th semester. And also takes to industrial visits in the middle of semester. When it comes to placement there is a abundance in job opportunities for software and IT while handful for remaining branches.

College Events

The main event of MGIT is called NIRVANA. It is usually conducted in February of every year and also branch wise national level technical events are conducted before NIRVANA. There is also MAGISTECH which is also a national level technical event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is about 100000 ( 1 lakh) per year. But if you are eligible for state scholarship (depends on caste) then it may go to 60000 ( sixty thousand) per year or free (zero fee). The college doesn’t provide any kind of scholarships. When it comes to college bus fee it is about 23k per year which is one of the cheapest in Hyderabad.

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn’t provide any kind of scholarship. Students who are eligible for state or national scholarships apply through college. Even i get full fee rembuirsment. And there are banks that provide student loans too.

Campus Life

There are a lot of extracurricular activities. There are a few national level players in sports from MGIT. Apart from sports there are many clubs like arts club, dance club, music club etc. In sports we have 1 kabaddi court, 3 volleyball courts , 2 basketball courts, 1 football and 1 cricket ground. There is also saperate section for indoor games and a gym

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very friendly. And when it comes to alumni we can get their contacts from college database, and most of the alumni are very friendly and cooperative, and help us whenever we need them.

Admission

Admission is done in two methods one through the common entrance test (EAMCET) where depending upon your marks, rank and caste you get a seat in the college. The second method is called B Category method where based on your JEE MAINS marks you may get a seat.

Faculty

Faculty is pretty good actually. A lot of senior faculty have PhD. And many are doing their now. The minimum qualification of faculty is MTech and every professor has a good grip on their respective subject. The faculty are also very friendly and cooperative.

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

NIT Warangal - A dream college

Placement Experience:

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.

I got an answer rank of 7381, I have chosen only ece subject in all the colleges which I have applied in osanima university, CBIT, vasaviengineering college, Gokaraju rangaraju college. Also other top 10 colleges.I got seat in this college but I prefer CB.IT college more than our college and also vasavy.College is equal to MGIT. After applying for these colleges, I got to know that Vienna is not a good college is equal and Mania university is a good college, but faculty doesn't care about students according to seat in CBI t and mjt, please. Prefer cbit. The admission process in this college is simple. You should get seat through t. this is the best college for the students who are very auspicious and determined

i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More
