Entrance Preview

EAMCET. I got a rank of 28600 and during councelling i got placed in this college. I also took other exams like IIT and AIEEE but i did not get good scores so i id not opt for those colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

IT is good. All the required subjects are presentprogramming skills like C,CPP and JavaDatabase management, analysis of algotithms ,DIstributed and Soft Computng ,Computer Graphics.

Internships Opportunities

I got selected for internship at MAQ Software and my stipend is 20000. The work is good and the selection procedure is also good. You can get selected if you have enough knowledge of the basic aspects.

Placement Experience

The placements are good too. All major companies conduct drives at our college. Infosys recruited 40 students and comapnies like amazon,genpact,Opentext are yet to arrive.

College Events

Tarang is a cultural fest conducted every year and it has good audience show up. Technical fest is also conducted every year but mostly college stduents participate in it.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholorships are awarded at this college. We have to pay everything on our own except for people who avail government scholorships.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni do come o he college to give speachs once in a while but they are not thata ctive with the way the college works. They stand as a part of college and do give suggestios if and whe we need them.

Exam Structure

The exam structire is what prescribed by JNTU. Everything reamains the same.6 subjects per semester and 2 internals and an external.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have many laboratories for practical knowledge. And also they providing other practical labs for us from other course related. They have installed a seperate computer lab or other elective labs for different branches. And also provide different assistants for every laboratories. They teach us well . Make us to make connections as per the circuit provided. They also teach us how they came into work in the real time life. Mainly they teach us how they are applicable to our real life. And also they preserve the projects and make juniors motivate and make them to learn.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internships from 3rd year, 2nd sem or from the end of 3rd year, 1st sem. Some of the notable companies that have visited the college were accenture, cognizant, tcs. I am planning to pursue masters after my degree completion over here. The highest package as per my knowledge is nearly 19 lakh. Most of the students are assured to get placed in bulk.

My view of Kmit

Placement Experience:

from 3 year 2 semester onwards the students can attend to placements without any active backlogs. The campies visited are drawin box,service now, real page,epam etc. the highest package is 44 lpa and average is 5 lpa. 45 per students have placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my father was private employee from electrical background so that i choose the Electrical and Electronics branch. So this branch was learned me technically a lot. The course was very difficult but need a guts to chase this.Here practical knowledge also very important from basics and need teaching very neatly to explain such hard topics like mechanism and electronics too.We wrote our exam into twice at 6months by dividing 1-1 and 1-2 etc.The exam time was 3 hours its a sufficient time to write a student with focus and knowledge on topics.
