Good college for engineering

The college building needs proper construction. Else everything is manageable. I would say the faculty is good and helping. They prepare you well for your exam and the college organizes tons of competitions to bring out the best in you.

The course curriculum is quite deep. In engineering, SPPU covers all the subjects which helps us to understand every aspect of the field and help us for practical projects. Exam structure is pretty simple. My college conducts mock exams before the university exam. We have unit tests, prelims, insems, mock practicals, final practicals and then the semester exam in the end. This way we are prepared for the final exams.

I would say our college is quite active when it comes to placements and job opportunities. At the beginning of our final year, different companies started visiting the campus for placements and all of the students eligible were given a fair chance to perform and grab that opportunity. Our college doesn't provide any internship as such.

This is an interesting part. We have so many small and big events in our college every year. We celebrate almost every festival along with teachers. There is one week dedicated to college events in which they have technical as well as non-technical events. Various competitions and days are organized. The cultural fest is amazing. Students perform really well and it's very well managed.

Since I belong to the general category, I do have to pay much as compared to others. But I would say, in comparison to other top colleges in Pune, the fees structure is quite feasible according to the facilities provided by the college.

Students can take an education loan from the bank and the college would help to provide all the necessary documents required in that process. The college accepts the loan money and the fees is paid using a demand draft directly so there's no issue.

I would say it could be better. But we still have many labs and instruments. The availability of labs is good. College organizes sports events which consists of almost every sport wherein you can show your talent and get into competitions and stuff.

Yes. In my case, my seniors were really helpful. Whether it's the notes or any doubts related to any project work they were there to help us. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus so that's amazing.

I belong to Rajasthan. I gave MHCET exam. The CAP rounds happened and I got this college. I went there and applied for admission. I paid the required fees and my college started without any hassle.

Some of the faculty members are quite experienced in their subject while some of them are still newbies so I feel their explanation is not that good. There's a room for improvement in that area. But the overall review of faculty members is that they assure complete understanding of the subject and help us in every way possible.
