Remarks

There are lots of positive remarks to our college.there is some negative remarks as well.positive remarks college provides excellent infrastructure and services to students.negative remarks include less placements. Placement companies are around 10-15max

Course Curriculum Overview

Currently curriculum in all college in Kerala are under ktu university and exam structure is also provided by university.our exam pattern is that we got two internal exams and final external exam in each semester for every subjects or courses there are mainly 6 theory course for every semester

College has got placement cells and some companies contact them and provide placement opportunities in our college itself.college also provide internships from our seniors who started startups and companies

College Events

The main college event or tech fest is mestech which is scheduled to happen in every year.there are also festival events like holi,onam,etc.There events made by IEEE,NSS and other organisations.college always supports event made by students

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fee structure is mainly of three category.first one is students selected from allotment process they have the least fee.the next category is management it's around 1lakh and 50 thousand per year for different branches .the next category is NRI .50 percentage of seats are only allocated for govt seats

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships provided by govt.college also gives scholarships for talented or high performing students by giving them around 25k.college selects these students in terms of academics.scholarships are for every branch

Campus Life

College provides many activities to students in terms of organisations like IEEE, NSS and other organisations.the labs in our college are huge and provide all lab equipments needed for students.college also conducts sports in every year.overall college is great

Alumni/Alumna

College facilitates a day in every year for alumni day.The students get information about alumni by their mails, WhatsApp groups and calls.The alumni association are also there in our college by them we can interact and also helps in placements and job opportunities

Admission

I had taken admission by giving admission form.after that invitation letter has come to my home for interview.The interview was with college principal and other faculty at college auditorium.they described with my entrance mark and 12 mark which all course I can be eligible to select and I payed fee for my course after that in allotment process the selected students can join and if management fee already payed the balance amount can be redeemed

College selects faculty based on their experience and marks.the college faculties provide full support for our extra culicular skills and in accademics also.faculties also inspect and provide directions to our projects

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

I choose btech cse cause it was the trending course at that time and I was computer science student in my high school so it was best for me to choose btech cse at that time. And I believe it cold be a great career choice

This college is not what it seems in the first look.

Likes

College was at a beautiful place. It was not a city but a beautiful place.
Hostel was great. I got many friends from there.
These are the only things that I can think of.

Dislikes

Teachers, they are horrible one one teacher named aparna was professional and ethical. My HOD was the worst.
Principal is the worst. She does not hear students side. She is money minded. I had a fee pending for not more than 2 week. When I went to her for signing my medical report she demanded that she will sign only after I paid that fee
The college does not encourage extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Likes

Decent infrastructure. hostel infrastructure is also clean and better than most colleges

Dislikes

Very poor campus life. No importance for cultural programmes and activities
Very poor and degrading environment for women. Faculties and other staff are very judgemental.
Very low packages for average students. Placement training is regularly being provided, but it is too hectic to be managed along with curriculum.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements after sixth semester. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

We have a very good faculty family that is not only supportive but also loving.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester we are eligible for the placements. They provide placement training sessions in the college itself. Computer Science department has almost hundred percent placements. Also there is mtech in the college if you prefer higher studies.

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Likes

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

There are a lot of assignment often for the students

After 6 th semester students become eligible for placements . It's in the final years . Many companies have visited the college and made offers for the students like Wipro,Tenzo tech , infopark etc Around 70 Percent students get placement

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.

Yeah well, positive things are there. I got many friends. I got a degree. I learned much personal and professional knowledge. I also learned how to live independently for 4 years without parents alone somewhere.

I don’t know because I haven’t attain any internships

I applied to several reputed colleges which offering similar programs in AI AND DS such rajagiri ,CET , Amal Jyothy etc.but in merit i get a college named mentor in ernakulam which is not having a good placements or acedamic performance and no a good transport itself.and I choose this college because a very good •academic reputation •infrastructure facilities •placement opportunities •lactation and accessibility •scholarships or financial aids This combination of factor made this college a ideal choice for my academic and professional aspire. Yes I did rejected by one college of my 12th percentage but they call me at last but I choose this college because that is a very bad in placements or academic performance and I focused more to a good academic and much better college for my career.and at last this made me to understand my strength and areas for grow and made to focus on making the opportunities that I have in this college and made me for the personal growth too and to build a strong gang certifications in the key areas too.the admission process in our college is mix of merit and management quotas depending upon the course. Eligibility are for BTech pass 12th with science background and meet the minimum score in physics maths and chemistry and for MTech relevant bachelors degree and accept entrance exams like KEAM JEE NATA GATE etc..and the cut off will be based on seat availability or number of applicants generally computer science have high cut off .
