About my college

My expectations of the college is very high, but some of the expectations are shattered still it's okay so remarks for my college is average it's neither good nor bad, as it comes in tier3 college so I guess remark for my college is in positive.

As I am studying Computer science stream, so I found this stream very interesting as there is very amazing stuff to learn and study. JEE is one of the most famous exam in India for engineering, it contains 90 question , 4 marks for each one and there is negative marking also , 1 marks is deducted if the answered questions is wrong.

Placements are average in our college as college brings many companies in our campus but we have centralized placement cell that includes many students that why it lags in giving great placement . So of dream companies also comes in our college giving dream placement still they give it to very few students, and Yes my college provides internship as I heard from my seniors and also on college official website, my seniors told me that college invites many companies and they come also but at the end all depends on the student.

One of best and I guess biggest event after IIT bombay, is our event organised by our college is 'Karandak' such a big and beautiful event held in our college and mostly it is done by students council , and other events like Dandiya night, Carnival, Tech events etc.

I guess fees is feasible as compared to other college in Pune , fees of my college is 103000 INR, and I guess it is not very high . And they are giving that type of facility in the college. And students who are not able to pay fees , college give them opportunity for scholarship also to help them.

As my college comes under Pune university, so there are scholarship for the students who live in Maharashtra, rest there is no scholarship for the students who come from other states and I guess that bad, So students who come from other states are not able to grab scholarship .

Yes we have many labs in our college and we do practical daily and lab facilities are also average, and we have various different types of clubs in our college such as robotics club, coding club, dance and drama club etc. We also have sports facilities in our college we have one football ground, one cricket ground, a basketball court, a swimming pool, etc.

Yes I have opted for hostel facility in my college, hostel are also average and I guess fees for hostel is also very less , they charge 65k per year including mess facility. We have a hostel of 5 floors and there are plenty of security guard present outside of the boys hostel and inside our hostel we have WiFi and water purifier for drinking water and once in a week sweepers come to clean up the rooms , so overall college facilities and infrastructure is good.

Yes I found some senior are helpful and if we talk to them they usually coordinate with us as we are freshers in our college. So yes freshers are cooperative and I do not know about the alumni of the college as I am fresher.

I got admission through my JEE percentile, in this college. As when I got my JEE percentile, I started choosing the colleges in Pune as I always wanted to study in any of the'IT Hub ' present in India so Pune was the perfect place and after that I filled the form of that college and through counselling I got the computer science branch in this college.

I found faculty of college is little average but still there are some of the faculty member with great knowledge. As some of the faculty member is not able to pronounce words correctly, as they lag in English speaking but still they try, but some of faculty member are good having great knowledge in there field. So according to overall college faculty is average.
