Entrance Preview

In order to get into gitam university for engineering ,you need to write gitam entrance test (GAT) which is conducted every year in April (only in Hyderabad,Visakhapatnam,Bangalore). This test includes physics,chemistry and maths which are high level but can be attempted with all basic knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is computer-science engineering. At first I was very afraid that I don't have any programming knowledge but this course starts from very basic topics .

Internships Opportunities

I joined Microsoft for internship which was recommended by one of our faculty members.

Placement Experience

In this year(2015) ,tata consultancy services which is the first company this year where almost 700+ students got placed, many companies such as Accenture ,wipro etc will come to campus this month(September). And I hope we get to almost 90%+ placements.

I think you know, when you first hear about gitam,what you get in mind is GUSAC carnival,which is one of the biggest fest where almost many students from other universities come to visit.

biomedical engineering is available in a very few colleges. Affordable college, needs improvement.

Applied to a couple of NLUs did not get the T1 or T2 NLUs, and did not want to go to T3 NLUs for the sake of the name, tried other private colleges but they were super expensive compared to this. I got accepted to all the private colleges that I applied to, and all of the T3 NLUs. The college has its own general admission test GAT, which is simple enough to be taken easily, a seperate personal interview is also conducted, though as far as I am aware, it is not a ground for rejection currently....Read More
