Remarks

Good college but strict in rules must reduce thier stictness and collect less fine as they would collect fine students will be more anxious about college management Good faculty and best infrastructure i have ever seen as there is a garden maintained properly Extra curriculor activities at prioritised more than academics

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Bcom i choosed this course to learn taxation policy and finance and banking laws which course has seperate subjects in seperate sems and stats which i think a little difficult is in 2nd and 3rd sem, Telling abt exam structure there is an exam conducted for every sem which in odd sem it is conducted in the month of nov/dec and even sem exam is conducted in the month of may/june exam is conducted smoothly but the correction done by bangalore university is horrible as they correct papers impatiently and we become sacrifice to their hurry

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement cell is seperately set up in out college there are 2 faculty members namely Agustus and Anu , During our regular classes for every week we have a seperate 1 hour class conducted and thereby ensure us how to stay confident and use our communication skills to attent a interview , Also they have mandated for every 2 sems we have to attend atleast one internship during our holidays also they have helped in getting placed for intership program I joined reliance retailer where i hav been working as stock assistant for a month and received a stifund of rs 8000.

College Events

3

In odd sem our college conducts a fest for a month for a particular department for example udbav for commerce department innovation for science department, anveshan for humanities department for as intra collegiate fest called as recipro where lucky draw competion is held and all the money goes for developmental caused as per their claim and even sem they conduct inter collegiate fest where in 70+ colleges participate and inter departmental fests are also conducted in even sem.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fees is moderate that is like sligtly more not too low It has been increasing yearly by 10 percent or something 46000 for a year exam fees excluding 4000 for 1st years for uniform And 500 rupees extra for college celebrations and other fees

Fees and Financial Aid

We have seperate sessions which are presented out of ppt where students are suggested to appy for scholarship and for 2 hours students were taught of the eligibilty and not only they taught us how to apply they also helped us and guided if we dont know how to do and also conducted follow ups for their status

Campus Life

4.5

Labs are one of the finest , Sports are encouraged those who would voluntarily join, buy in extra currular and co curriculor students like me who dont have any about are forced to participate to them and made to learn stuff like outer academics

Alumni/Alumna

I remember on our parents meet, They had conducted some special classes where our teachers were alumni students who are currently working in corporates i enjoyed their class more than academics and alumni trained us how to attend the corporate interviews

Admission

Firstly i got a suggestion for my mom's friend about college as her son was studying and i got an application and also interview was fixed where i had to show all my orginal marks card and attend principal who was interviewing me he made me feel comfortable and asked why our college i said becoz of environment and transport convinience soon he asked about my careen and i said my interest in finance and tax and i got selected And told to submit my originals and pay fees and get a photo clicked as per instructions i followed and got enrolled

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
