CAS IHRD Calicut

Lack of space is the major negative of this college. Due to tha lack of a ground sports events are held in other grounds. Conjusted building is another negative of this college. But instead of having a huge building small building helps students to keep large number of friends over the college.

CAS IHRD calicut is affiliated to calicut university so the exam structure is decided by the university. Semester system is the structure that followed by the college. Exactly 6 semester are there for graduation course.

This college is one of the major placement centre in calicut city. There are lot of companies hiring students as employees in every year. Last year 70% of students got placed in reputed companies all over in India.

This college have only minimum facilities so the programmes are limited. Mainly college students celebrates an arts festival, sports event, and union inauguration. Since 2017 Drona festival emerged as the iconic event of CAS IHRD Calicut. Drona is tech fest.

As the semester system demands the fee structure is also with the semester system. Each every 6 month the students must be pay the fees. And there is fees relaxation for the minority communities. Some of the communities doesn't want to pay the fee.

The scholarships that offered by the government of kerala or other private sector organizations can be applied by the students of this college. Loan facilities are not specified in the prospectus of the college.

There are 5 labs in there and 3 of them are computer labs and rest of them are for electronics. Each of the computers in the labs are connected through cloud computing system so the security is very much higher than other system.

College is situated at the heart of the calicut city so transportation is much more easier. So college doesn't have any hostel facilities. In fact majority of students are local students. That's why the authority doesn't think about a hostel.

Yes. There are very much stronger and effective alumni network in this college. Each and every student got graduation or post graduation from this college automatically become an alumni. And those personal details are stored in a well maintained website.

I got admission in CAS IHRD calicut through direct merit list of college on the basis of marks obtained in higher secondary school. After publishing merit list there was an interview to check my certificates which ensures that I'm eligible for the course.

Most of the faculties are not permanent staff every year the teachers are changing randomly so that may cause the countiuty problem for students. lack of experience may affect the students improvement.
