Remarks
Positives: Open campus, if a student isn't interested in a class for a specific reason he can have some good time in the campus. There will be no pressure from the administration to make a student attend all the classes. Negatives: Placements can be made better both number wise and package wise Canteen food isn't good
Course Curriculum Overview
Good course curriculum as my college comes under jntu affiliation which maintains both practical and theoretical knowledge of subjects. There will be 2 semesters per year and every semester will have 2 lab exams and 3 internal exams and one final exam
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are good for CSE and ECE students, usually 60-70% of the students who try for placements get placed in campus placements which happen in 4th year. Not many product based companies visit the college for placements. Coming to internships the college doesn't provide internship opportunities itself. But there are instances where companies hire people when they are in their last semester, stipend wise they are paid half of their original salary during this period.
College Events
There are many events occuring through out the year like sports fests, department fests and annual day which is called as Nirvana. There will be annual sports events happening at the end of the year, apart from that an event called ekalavya which happens in the mid of October where many colleges from Hyderabad participates.Department fests will be conducted every year which lasts for 2 days. Annual day event Nirvana will be for 3 days of which one day is cultural day, many musical, dance and other types of competitions will be conducted.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure has taken huge jumps in the past few years, as an alumni when I joined in my first year the fees was doubled compared to the previous year, but it was feasible. Currently the fees structure has doubled compared to my fees, which is a little expensive to be frank.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a scholarship program provided by the government of Telangana, if one can secure a good rank in the entrance exam i.e. EAMCET, he/she can get full fee exemption which is beared by government which includes only the tuition fee. Apart from that if one secures a moderate rank he/she will be provided with 35k as fee exemption. Bank loans can be availed too.
Campus Life
Coming to extracurricular activities there are different types of established clubs like music club, arts club, musings team which is the annual magazine of the college. There are sports clubs too. Labs wise one can find good equipment and machinery required. There are many sports events happening every now and then and there are 2 grounds one for football and cricket and other for volleyball, and there are 2 basketball courts, apart from these there are indoor games area where one can find table tennis carrom and internal gym.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is poor, apart from an annual gathering of alumni students where many less number of people attend it there are is no proper network of alumni. Coming to senior students, as most part of the interaction between Juniors and seniors happen in the first year which can form a bond among them but unfortunately due to anti ragging committee and policies of the college it is extremely difficult to get the contacts of seniors atleast while we are in college premises. So there is naturally a gap between Juniors and seniors atleast in my experience as I couldn't find any seniors as my friends nor could I make friendship with my Juniors.
Admission
Through Eamcet counseling, which is an exam conducted in Telangana for admissions into engineering colleges of telangana. After the exam results are out counseling will be conducted and one has to select the college and branch According to his rank
Faculty
Good, many of them have good knowledge on the subject they are teaching and have good number of years as experience. They are very cooperative with students and are easy to contact. They always strive to complete the syllabus on time.
