Remarks

The attendance system is kne negative remark I would have about thr college. And moreover, we don't get vacations to pursue internship, which i feel is a really bad downside of this college. I fell college authorities shoulf give importance to internships as it bolsters our chance of getting a job later.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

This college comes under Gujarat Technological University and hence the course curriculum is provided by GTU. We get electives from 5th semester onwards. The university follows a semester system and each semester, we are expected to clear 5-6 subjects. A mid term exam is conducted by college every semester, followed by practical exam as well as end semester exam, which is confucted by GTU. As for the syllabus, few subjects are really good whereas a few subjects are outdated. The lack of electives is a con here. Otherwise, the syllabus is decent.

Placement Experience

2.5

College does not provide internships. Students are responsible to find internships on their own. Even if students find internships, college doesn't provide sufficient leave, and hence sometimes students miss out on opportunities. I went for an internship for a month, and had to miss a few classes, and later faced difficulties because of low attendance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is quite feasible. We are supposed to pay fees every semester, and the fees is 48,000INR. That's 96,000 INR every year, and hence, rougly 4 Lakh INR for the entire course. This is comparable to other colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are a lot of third party scholarships available. One being MYSY, which is need based scholarship. Applicants need to have a low income certificate inorder to avail this scholarship. Also, applicants should have a good academic performance for the same. There are a few other scholarships offered by third parties, for some specific community or for people with reservations(OBC, SC, ST)

Campus Life

3

The extracurricular activitied are decent. The labs are decent, but the computer labs are fantastic and well equipped. For sports, we have MTB college's ground which has good amenities for sports, and a small ground inside our college as well.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is decent, and there are quite a few seniors who went to study abroad and are really helpful. I'm personally going for Ms in US and the seniors studying there really helped me a lot. A few seniors working in different companies also help us with respect to placements.

Admission

I appeared for JEE Mains exam and 12th CBSE Board exams. Based on these two exams, a merit list was provided by ACPC. Now, we were asked our choices regarding the colleges and courses provided by the colleges. I chose this and a few other colleges, and hence based on my merit rank, i got admit here.

Faculty

4

Faculty of college is good, with most of the professors holding a doctoral degree. There are nearly 15 professors in every delartment, along with 5-6 non teaching staff. Every faculty has different focus on different domains of department. Although a few faculties are harsh, few faculties are amiable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well-strutured and covers fundamental concepts in a clear and systematic manner. As a first-semester student I found the subjects helpful in building a strong base for futher studies. The syllabus balances theory with practical exposure which helps in understanding real-worls applications.Faculty members explain concept clearly, through adding more hands-on projects and industry-oriented topics would make the curriculum even better.Overall the curriculum is relevent comprehensive and suitable for beginners but it can be improved with more practical sessions and updated content aligned with current industry trends.
