Being one of the oldest engineering colleges of Nagpur, the college has carried on the status in past years by providing excellent technical education to the students. The students are also enhanced in every sense considering technical as well as social intelligence.

Affiliated to RTMNU and exams according to RTMNU pattern. Nagpur University helds the exams in semester pattern and there are certain criteria for the ATKT to qualify for the next year. Each semester has at least four subjects consisting of theory and practicals.

The college lags somewhere in the placement and job opportunities but speaking about internship each department gives opportunity and freedom to the students to enhance their practical skills in their particular field by providing internships at renowned companies.

Events held in a college can be basically classified in the social events and the technical events. Speaking about technical events IT department organisers numerous technical events related to their fields to enhance the practical aspect of student related to the field. In social event different cultural and social activities are conducted to maintain the goodwill and enthusiasm among the students.

Scholarships are given to the students who fall under the OBC SC ST NT etc category. Ebc fee concession is given to students that are in the general category and whose family income falls under the rules and regulations of the ebc process.

The labs and extra curricular activities section is is good but not quite upto the mark. This varies according to different department depending on how much that field emphasizes on practical and extra curricular activities.

Admission based on merit list according to DTE process. Secured sufficient amount off marks for this particular college according to the cut off for direct second year admission in engineering. The process is of 3 rounds and the candidate fills his desired college name and is admitted to the college where is best suited with the cutoff and the seats.

College consists of renowned faculty's with excellent education qualifications. Most of the faculties are from the initial days of establishment of college that is 1984 hence the amount of experience they have in the particular subject is quite commendable and helpful for the students.
