Remarks

I wish The Premises of the college could be little more spacious. And more space could be provided for the outdoor gaming.this college is ragging free, and I really like the support given by the faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

As my college is affiliated to jntu Kakinada, the syllabus structure and the exam dates are decided by jntuk and sometimes it gives trouble at the end of the semester because of the decisions taken by the jntuk.

Placement Experience

This year the placement opportunities were more. The intake of companies like TCS is more in number. And we have very less intake of the core companies. They are particular barriers for the eligibility of placements. And they support for internships.

College Events

The events like hardware expo's, ECLATA, IEEE, and many more extra curricular activities like annual day nd sports competition were also conducted. Some events were conducted according to the branch wise.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is expensive according to the branches. The students who have fee reimbursement were little better. But the donation seats are very expensive.the transportation cost is too expensive and I really don't like the transportation facility provided by them.

Fees and Financial Aid

The government fee reimbrusement is provided and the education loan offer is also provided. Merit Scholarship is also given according to their previous conduct. The college also charge seperate fee for the exam every semester.

Campus Life

The lab records are little trouble making, and rest of the things are fine. Like sports competitions are conducted we have seperate sports room and gym room. And the events like annual day, freshers day, department days are also celebrated.

Hostel Facilities

Poor. My hostel friends are suffering with water problem and sometimes the electricity gives more trouble.they didn't provide generator facility all the time. And the hostel rooms were maintained clean.

External Expense: More Than Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are helpful and our college is ragging free. Some seniors are very interactive by helping us like by given suggestions and they are very cooperative. It's a Zero ragging free college. And the seniors are more active for knowing about our social issues and help us to solve them.

Admission

By writing EAMCET entrance exam and by attending the 3rd counseling I got seat in gvp engineering college for women in vishakapatnam.The government fee Reimbrusement and education loan offer is provided.

Faculty

I feel good with the teaching. They clarify my doubts but the curriculum of labs is little trouble making. The records we write are for no use. They are big burden to us. And the assignments were also given more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

The reason why I chose this particular college is, it is one of the top colleges in my city. As of me I'm an extreme introvert, so I can't mingle between people easily. So joining in a women's college made me less tensed. I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri vidya parishad college of engineering (autonomous), Raghu college, MVGR college and many more colleges in my city. I've got confirmed in only GVPCEW. Yes, i was rejected from the other colleges that I've applied and the reason was because of my eamcet rank. I wasn't able to get a good rank in my eamcet exam so i got rejected by the other colleges. The admission process is simple, we have to submit the required documents. There is no particular eligibilty for our college. Best for discipline and education

I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering autonomous which is our parent college and Pragati engineering college . I have got admission into Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering for women. I have kept option of other colleges as they are autonomous when compared to our college . But now ours is always autonomous. Admission into the college is through entrance test called EAPCET by counselling and the rank we obtained will decide to go to which college .
