Entrance Preview

I attended OJEE and Ranked-3590, This college is Ranked among top private colleges in Odisha with good faculty and placement section. As a professional study that is a most important reason.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was like same through out the country. First year its like an cumulative study of all basic branch like Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science.

Internships Opportunities

There was no such offer for Internship from our college is offered, but you can attend internship personally. College placement was good, although the year I was graduated, it was not upto the mark. But it is still one of the best colleges in Odisha.

Placement Experience

Placement was very good. I got some good offers. I attended few off campus as well. Salary range was 2.5-3.5 lac per annum. The list of companies are Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and many more core companies as well.

College Events

As part of event structure, its like cluster of programs we had celebrated during our tenure in the college. Mostly celebrated events are Holi, Diwali, Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja and many more events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was ok means its kind of feasible only as compared to other colleges. We were paying around 55 thousand as tution fee, and some extra stuffs was charged like for blazer we had to pay around 2.5 k in 1st semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

We were getting some 10 thousand amount of scholarship from Odisha govt. Awarded through our college.

Campus Life

We had a cricket team and they had won a inter college tournament once. Apart from that we had a football team as well. And we organized drama and musical events during college function.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network doesn't seems to be active that much, but still few peoples are still in contact of each other.Nothing much to add on here. Because from my end I didn't get much response for any get together session.

Exam Structure

We had internal exams every month under each semester and for each semester there will be a final exam. Lab section was good, we tried out many things, and got to learn a lot as well.

Faculty

Faculty was the best part of the college. Those people are very friendly and supportive. They guided me through out my career and helped me to improvise myself.

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

The reality of GITA AUTONOMOUS college

There are 3 ways to join this college. 1.JEE councelling If you have the rank in between approximately 350000 to 1500000 , then you can join in this college without any problem. 2.OJEE councelling 3.You can get management seats if you passed in 12th examination with PCM subject selection . But you have to score more than a specific mark in the PCM subjects. You can apply to get admission in this college by Jossa councelling (jee) website and ojee councelling website. If you want to join by jossa councelling then you have to fill up the form by asked documents and 10000 councelling fees. Admission process is quite easy but there is also an another process in which you just have to contact the college admission department and you have to give 20000 and the college go through every process of the admission by themselves.
