After class 12 board exam, An Entrance exam is conducted on central level called JEE MAINS. Qualifying the exam with good marks gives you chance to take admission to many different courses in different NITs according to rank acquired by the student, each college has limited seats, so students with higher ranks are given priorities over students with less ranks.
