Placement Experience
Yes, in second year you have to do a 4 month (17 weeks) training in a 5 star hotel in all the departments Front Office, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping and Kitchen. You will have a great experience and will get a broader look of the industry.
College Events
1. Theme Lunch- you make food on a particular theme i.e food from a particular state of India. 2.Freshers day- when the 1st yearcomes. 3.Farewell day- Giving Farewell to seniors. 4. Annual day - once in every year. 5. Independence day. 6.Republic day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is not much and is feasible. It is economical but the living expediture might vary for everyone. The tuition fees is like 55k per semester and hostel fees is like 76k per year. Hostel is decenet enough to stay.
Campus Life
We don't have any sports in college but we have a front office club Faces conducts many interactive and full of learning events. There is huge participation of people in the college and people live these events. Every department has a club.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is a new building which is 8 kilometers far from college but it has a good metro connectivity and takes 30 minutes in total to reach the college. There is different hostel for guys and girls.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, alumnus are very helpful but one should get the contacts from the teachers. This industry is very small and hence everyone should keep on taking guidance from their seniors. The departments they choose need guidance from the alumina.
Admission
There is an all India Entrance exam by NCHMCT conducted in April and on the basis of your Rank in this exam you get admiitted into all the IHM's Across the country. usually the cut off for general category is till 1500.
