Best engineering college in Konkan region

Best college in Konkan with region with NAAC B++ grade but they need to work to become one of the best college of Maharashtra State. Also there is need of infrastructure development.

Course curriculum is as per University of Mumbai and exams are also conducted by University of Mumbai.

Good placement is provided for IT branch with packages upto 5 lakhs. But for other branches placement is normal. Few mass recruiters from IT or finance background recruites number of students with packages upto 2.5 lakhs.

Utopia - Annual Cultural Festival. Brainwaves - Annual Technical Festival. Other branchwise Technical Festivals are conducted by respective branch students associations such as MESA, EESA, ASNET, etc.

Feasible, one of the lowest fee in Mumbai University colleges. That's may be one the reason for good number of admission.

All government scholarships are provided. Separate scholarship officer is there who takes care of all scholarship activities. Besides that institute also offer scholarship of Rs 5000 per year to needy students.

Extra curricular activities are appreciated. College participate in number of national level events such as BAJA, Solar car, Electric kart, Smart India Hackathon, Mumbai University cultural festival and sports competition, regional elocution debate competitions, etc. All required labs with required instruments and machines available but most of them are older and need to be replaced by new one.

Didn't opted for hostel but hostel facilities are good and food is also average. Only problem is that it is located approx 4 km away from college and you have to be dependent on college bus.

Alumni network is present but it's for name sake. No activities are done by Alumni committee. No one is interested to do something for institute.

Most of the faculties are well qualified and everyone focuses on completion of syllabus but still some faculty lacks in teaching and explaining ability.
