Infrastructure is the only point lacking. But the rate at which development work is going on, I hope it will catch up with the rest of the Institutes as well. Sporting facilities especially for athletics can be improved.

The Chemical Engineering curriculum starts from the Second year onwards. The first year courses are same for all the Branches, thus giving the students an opportunity to slide up or down their respective branches based on their performance and interest. The core curriculum is very diverse and touches all the sections of the field comprehensively.

The placements are fantabulous. The 2019 batch got more than 100% Placements, meaning many of the students got double-triple placements and the average package is also the highest among all of the core engineering branches in the Institute.

Being a Government funded institute, it enjoys the perks of comparatively lower semester and hostel fees. Also students coming from economically and socially backward background can avail scholarships which further subsidieses their education fee.

Since, I do not belong to any of the economically or socially backward class, also I'm not so academically proficient to to get the scholarship, therefore I have to pay the complete semester and hostel fee.

Labs are in good condition although sometimes many of the equipments are not working or not calliberated properly. Sports facilities are average but the stimulus at producing great players is great. My roommate himself is a Inter-NIT Champion in Table Tennis.

It is fully residential institute. Hostel rooms for all except the first years are somewhat small considering the two roomies situation. But overall the conditions are improving and you can definitely survive.

Alumni network is one of the greatest I've ever seen. Through social media and other means, Alumnis always find themselves aware of the happenings in the Institute. There is a Alumni fund which caters to the financial needs of the students.

First I appeared for JEE Main conducted by CBSE in 2017. I had prepared for the same for a year in Kota and was in competition with 1.3 million other candidates. After scoring good marks in the examination, I took part in JoSAA counseling where I selected the said College and Branch.

The faculty is really hardworking and knowledgeable. Since the semester plans are not very rigorous, thus faculty members have the luxury of looking after the needs of students and cater them accordingly.
