Remarks

In my opinion please try for another college. The only good thing about this college is the studies and nothing else. My friend if you do not want to waste a very great time period of your life please give yourself another chance and be a part of that college that gives you a better college life with studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course provided in this college is only B.Tech (we are the last batch of B.E). The course curriculum and syllabus are nice and enough for a B.Tech pursuing student. The syllabus is according to the latest AICTE and MHRD norms. If you are only concerned about the studies but not other things this college is for you. The Exam structure is very scoring and simple according to other colleges.

Placement Experience

0.5

I'm a final year student of this college, and after spending almost 4 years in this college the only thing I can tell is " Please believe in yourself and try to get the job from off-campus or any other medium. " There is almost no possibility of getting placement from this college. They will tell you that we send students for off-campus recruitment to other colleges like JEC but the thing is you can apply for that on your own.

College Events

2

There are mainly three big events which are Teachers day, Engineers day and Techfest. The rest of the small events are handled by our group 'The Next Level'. But now more new groups are formed for these small events. Techfest is the State level annual college fest which will remind you of your school annual function. It is a three-day program in the first two days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of our college are the lowest among all other government autonomous colleges in MP. It is about 25K per annum. For first-year students it is about 26K. Monthly expenses are very less in Sagar if you are a student. There is a sufficient number of PGs available nearby to college which is very cheap 5-6K is enough for you including food and rent. You can also rent a flat in sharing with your friends. Generally a 2-3 BHK flat will cost you 4-5K. Here are some small marts that are also available to you like Vishal, V-mart, Reliance, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are also provided to the economically weak and reserved students. The scholarship is provided by the MP government, it is based on your fees. The scholarship provided to you includes the tuition fees and some more for your college expenses. You can apply for the scholarship on the MP Scholarship portal in Post metric section. Students belong to SC/ST are also provided room rent. For Scholars and top rankers, vice-chancellor award and scholarship is also a very good option.

Campus Life

1.5

Campus life in this college is not very interesting. The infrastructure of the college is not so good and outside the city. The gender ratio is about 70:30. The college faculty and staff just focus on providing you a B.Tech degree and things other than studies are just a waste of time according to them. For extracurricular activities and skill development as mentioned above 'The Next Level' organizes competitions, seminars, etc on a regular basis.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors here are very helpful. They will guide you and help you in every way they can. They are very friendly in nature like your elder brothers and sisters. Just you have to be in touch with them and maintain their dignity.

Admission

The admission procedure for this and most of the colleges in Madhya Pradesh which are affiliated to RGPV, Bhopal is very simple. There are mainly two stages - First on the basis of merit list according to college cutoff (varies from college to college) based on your JEE ranking and the second stage is the College Level Counselling round also know as CLC which is done to fill up the remaining vacant seats.

Faculty

4.5

The best part of our college is the faculty. Teachers here are highly qualified, all the permanent faculty members are postgraduates of IITs, NITs, and other central universities and some of them are Ph.D. holders also. The Electronics and mechanical department is very concern and strict about education. Most of the lab facilities provided by the EC department are industry oriented like software and hardware.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.
