Remarks

Management has to improve on their duties to a large extent on every aspect, be it academic or others.

Entrance Preview

I got my admission through donation i thought computer science was a good suit for me i was good at computers during my schooling I paid 1 lakh as a donation for my admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Curriculum was vast and informative it covered almost all of the subjects corresponding to information technology it was huge and satisfactory couldn't have been better we had around 8 subjects for each semester, with a total of seven semesters.

Internships Opportunities

We never had an internship offered i am wondering if we really had any such activity during the final semester each student had to work on a project for which college hasn't provided us any help everything was done by the students on their own.

Placement Experience

2

Placement was good we had interviews scheduled with 25 companies approximately it was good compared to other colleges. The only negative point Is that interviews were scheduled together for 4-5 colleges since the owner of Sathyabama has about 4-5 colleges.

College Events

0.5

We only had celebrated the annual day event every year apart from that we rarely has any celebrations preference was never given to these kind of activities by management.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I had to pay around 5 lakhs for 4 years including hostel fee I am not sure if this reasonable as I am not aware of the fees structure of other colleges, however I thought it was reasonable. Food provided in college mess/canteen was absalutely good.

Campus Life

1.5

Totally not worth this is not the college if you are looking for all this stuff gender ratios were okay but the rules were strict to the core, like girls were not allowed to talk to boys in campus it was very very rate to think of any cultural or sports or other extra curricular activities that we had.

Hostel Facilities

2

Mess food is extremely good but stay is worst to the core we had 3 landline phones that can be used for 2 hours in the evening by 1000 students no electronic devices allowed. Was like a stay in jail.

Alumni/Alumna

We rarely had any alumni meet i had heard about this from my friends in other colleges the worst thing was that i was never notified or invited for any such activity i am sure none of my friends did either i think the management has to concentrate on these activities at least for the same of students.

Exam Structure

Lab sessions could have been more and lab coaching experience must be improved exams were many but coaching was not up to the mark improvements had to be made on lab coaching.

Faculty

1.5

Most of them were good but not all i felt the lecturers could have been more professional, friendly and encouraging. I think a teacher definitely must have many more qualities than people at this college have. A teacher's behavior must inspire students to

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Placement Experience:

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
