Remarks

Positive: Stipend is being provided on time for the interns and Junior residents,Good faculties. Negative: No proper infrastructure,No proper mess food, Separate electricity bill for students, Management is careless

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

4.5years+1year(internship). Course is actually interesting for the one's are totally focused. On end of every respective year there will be Theory+practical exams. 1st year(Anatomy+Physiology+biochemistry) 2nd year(Pathology+microbiology+pharmacology+forensic medicine) 3rd year(Opthalmology+ENT+community medicine) 4th year(Medicine+Surgery+Pediatrics+OBG)

Placement Experience

2.5

Internship is a must to graduate this course. Graduates have to complete all the clinical postings to complete 1 year internship with monthly stipend of 6k INR. The clinical postings are of 3rd and 4th year subjects.

College Events

2

Fresher's day: Newly joined students get an opportunity to introduce and express themselves Euphoria fest: Yearly once fest of a week with different theme daily Sports day: Both indoor and outdoor intra and inter batch competition

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible for Government quota students not for Private seats or Management seats. For private seats it too expensive. And the merit seats are also too less.More of private, management seats which is triple fold the merit fee

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship in the sense the Government quota seats being provided based on then conducted Karnataka CET Exam. Their fee structure is much cheaper than other entries. Other than that there is no particular loan facility

Campus Life

2.5

Extracurricular activities: Cultural fest's by students council Labs:Good, well equipped.Lab technical staff present Sports:There is quite a good scope for sportsman. Also there is separate Boy's and Girls gym

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel rent is too high for the infrastructure they provide. Separate electricity bill is also being collected. One TV room with 32" TV. Mess food is worst.Rooms aren't spacious enough. Hostel warden's are strict enough

Alumni/Alumna

No such alumni network present. Senior student council is present which constitutes of 3rd students batch which changes every year and these are people organising various events. They are quite active and helpful at times but not at most of the times.

Admission

Got admission through NEET-UG Merit which is an all over India common Medical entrance. Based on cut off students qualify and their respective ranks fetch them seats according hierarchy of college rankings

Faculty

3

Faculties are really good unlike management. We'll experienced double graduates with good experience in respective subjects. Faculties teach with ppt presentation to set of students. And clinical side they teach by explaining cases

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
