Remarks
The college overall is Good with better faculties and facilities. The infrastructure is being developed and has changed a lot during the last few years towards the better. The negatives about the college are that it is at quite a distance from the Bangalore city and the area in which the college is situated has a bad reputation.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is afflicted to VTU or the Vishveshwaraiya University. The course is as prescribed by the VTU. The examination is based on semester scheme the whole course has 8 semester. Where the 1st two semesters are common for all the branches. Once we enter 3rd semester we are subjected to respective courses.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities in the college are feeble but the companies that participate in the placement are quite prestigious. The college doesn't offer any kind of internship. But the faculties refers the candidates for internship across the state of Karnataka.
College Events
The college celebrates almost all the Indian festivals but with precautionary measures. They have there own principles in celebrating the festivals. Other than the religious festivals the college has it's own set of festivals for culturals, technical and sports. The annual college festival is most important one of all.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The General fee for Government admission is about Rs 70000/- for the Management (Private) admission it is about 1.6 Lakhs. The fee structure changes depending on the Family income to help the people below poverty line. Karnataka Government also provides Scholarships to the merit students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college doesn't offer any kinds of Scholarship but they help with the loans for the students through educational loans from different national banks. The Government of Karnataka provides few Scholarships based on the merits and the students other criteria.
Campus Life
The college always supports the students for their talents. They undertake many extracurricular activities such as organising treks, sports and other events. Labs are always open for training throughout the course within the college timings. The technical guides always help you out with the doubts.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has a very good relationship with it's alumni students, as well maintains a good network overall. The college regularly organises alumni meets and even alumni and student information exchange sessions to keep the students updated about the outside market and competitors.
Admission
The state of Karnataka has an common entrance exam know has CET. Based on the ranking obtained in the CET I was allotted to Don Bosco Institute of Technology. The Karnataka Education Administration or KEA conducts CET exams and once the results are out there will be 3 rounds for college allotment. After the allotment we can download the Admission letter and get admitted to the college by paying the Fee mentioned on the admission letter. The fee varies from person to person based on the caste, income and merit.
Faculty
The faculty are highly knowledgeable and are well versed in their respective fields. They are available for assistance throughout the course. The projects and guidance they provide are beyond the original course and are very informative.
