Information about SVMIT Bharuch

The college is located in main city area of Bharuch district and you can easily reach at destination. The railway station and bus station is nearby. The education is average. Students can full enjoy in college.

SVMIT offered engineering in various courses like Chemical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Civil engineering, computer engineering, Information and Technology engineering, Electrical engineering. The course is devided into 8 semester and and in each semester 1 midterm exam and 1 external exam.

The placement and job opportunities in this college is not good. There are no campus drive by any company in our college. The students from this college try very hard to get job. Internship is also done by student themselves and their are no stipend.

In our college following events are celebrated. 1. Youth festival In youth festival the various social programs of singing, dancing etc. 2. Annual function 3. Fresher party 4. Techfest Technical events competition 5. Ganesh chaturthi 6. DJ party

The fee structure in this college compare to other colleges around our area is feasible. The fee is 74000 per year. There are extra charge for hostel and food facilities. The fees is divided half in both semesters.

In SVMIT the scholarship from Gujarat government is provided to SC, ST, OBC students and also for minority caste students. There are freeship card available for SC student by which the tuition fees are not applicable for that students.

In SVMIT the extracurricular activities are carried on by regular intervals in which the growth of students is taking place. The sport events is also done in college in which our college also participate in state level. There are well facility labs in all departments.

There are no such type of network are working for the college. The students of this college is some are in contacts after graduation but no alumni get together is organised by college because there are no relationship.

The admission in college is handled by the ACPC 75% seats and Management quota 25% seats. By ACPC the allotment of college in Gujarat is done based on the choice of candidates. The selection is based on the marit list given by the ACPC.

The faculties in college are well qualified and experienced. I am from chemical engineering branch and In our department 3 Phd and 4 post graduate teachers are available. The faculties are very supportive to the students and always being helpful in any situation.
