Remarks

The college is pretty good as this holds a lot historical values. This is an age-old college established in 1878 during British rule. The faculties are good and helpful. The only thing is the infrastructure should be improvised.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course I am doing is ITM(information technology and management) is basically a technical course oriented towards providing IT education along with management education, which will further benefit students in real time jobs. The syllabus is based on CBCS ( choice based credit system) structure. 2 internal and 2 semesters in an education year.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are quite good in terms of ROI ( return of investment). The companies like Deloitte, Wipro, infosys, Capgemini, TCS are prime recruiters offering a package around 3-4 lakhs, which is great when you look at the amount you are investing i.e. 35k each year for 3 year around 105k.

College Events

3

Every year annual function is celebrated by science society, arts society and commerce society , ITM and BBA department respectively along with these each hostel has their own annual day celebration. Apart from these Freshers and farewell parties are organised by each departments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is quite low as it comes under Govt. Of Odisha. The science, arts, commerce fees are around 3000 annually and self financing courses like ITM,CS,IST,BBA,B.ED ranges from 25k to 50k per year. PG courses are around 40k while MBA costs 2 lakh per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such particular loan is required for the courses, there is a recession in fees for SC/ST students this is all I know about the scholarship or loan facility provided by the university authority.

Campus Life

2.5

Every year a university level sports meet is organised where students take part in different type of sports from athletic to cricket to basket ball. Different cricket cups are organised by different hostels. Apart from these cultural fest is organised where students showcase their cultural talents. There is a model United Nation named as RUMUN where students delegate different nations. Different ted events are also organised.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostels are very good, maintained , facilitated with WiFi.Hostels are the soul of the university ,they have their own annual day celebrated with much pomp in a competitive manner. Each hostel wants to organise the best and prove it's mantle.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the university is pretty big a lot of alumnis are in different fields from high bureau crats to poets to politicians the network is pretty big as this is a much older college. Some are in abroad and there is a alumni meet occurs every year.

Admission

The university basically does the admission process on the basis of merit list. University releases online application form on it's own official website every year after 12th boards then after sort listing the application it releases a merit list and those meritorious student can take admission in the streams they are interested.

Faculty

3

The college is good but it lacks solid infrastructure. Which should be taken into account seriously by college authorities. It must focus on improving education environment in the campus. Apart from these everything is fine.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course because i love Zoology. The curriculum is strict and it also focus in the discipline of the students. The only problem is the class our overlaps with sports hour so if you want to practice your game you've to miss the last 2 classes. They all teach so professionally . Examination here are conducted so neatly and the time period is also okay.

Course Curriculum Overview:

those course curricullams at central university of odisha is thought fully designed ,offering a balanced blend of theoretical depth and practical relevance. on eof the key reason why students opt for such courses like int mathmatiss is the seamless academic progression and strong foundation it provides for research and comprdative exams. that curricullum could be more better as it can be more practical. what we are studing is like 80% theory and just 20% practical. so i do think that could be more better. the quality needs to be improved.

The curriculum is according to CBSH syllabus,New Delhi. The syllabus can include more practicals. And also the availability of instruments should be there to do practicals individually. The exams are normal ...but the time given can change sometimes due to external factors that might shift the exam dates.
