Above average

Like every other student, i also wanted to study in NITs and IITs but due to some reason i couldn't and ended up in this college. Though my college is a bit average but its placement is very good. And is believe that its not the college that matters, but the knowledge and education. I will surely rate my college as above average according to its discipline and placement.

The course curriculum is a bit boring as most of it contains theory and less practicals. The exam structure is traditional level and needs improvement. Sometimes the paper comes too easy and also the marking is varies upon the teacher checking our answersheet.

The main strength of our college is its discipline and placement opportunities for the students. There is a dedicated placement cell in the college to look into the field. Some good companies do visit our college like Accenture, Hitachi, Delloite, etc.

In 1st year, there are almost no events available for the students. But as we progress to further years, a lot of events are organised throughout the year by different departments of college. A lot of students participate in them as the entry fee is very nominal.

Though the fee of our college is a bit higher than other colleges in greater noida but it provides the facilities according to it. Also, the college provides scholarship to students with economically weaker background.

I have not availed the scholarship but our college surely provides scholarship to the students having economically weaker background so as to facilitate their study. I don't know about any loan facility available.

The labs are very well equipped with the required technologies and equipments, no matter which department you belong to. The library is also very good with a great number of books to read and issue. There is a dedicated online study room in the library.

The hostel infrastructure is good but the food quality in the mess is surely not up to the mark. Living in college hostel makes it easy to reach college as it is within the college campus. I recommend to live in college hostel only if you are in 1st year.

I have seen many photos of students who have been placed at great packages and in good companies in the college campus. Also, the senior students are very kind and there is no ragging in our college or hostel as it is strictly prohibited.

I got admission through the state level entrance examination namely UPTU exam. There are several colleges in the AKTU University spread all over Uttar Pradesh and we can take any college based on our merit in the examination. Also, the college accepts admission upon jee- main marks if applicable.

Some of the faculties are very well educated and they teach well too. But this numbers are usually less. Moreover, in the end it depends upon the student and its behaviour towards the teacher. Good teachers are available in 2nd and above years but less in 1st year.
