Remarks

My college is one of the oldest colleges in the town and it has maintained its quality of studies offered and ambiance till date. It is a ragging-free campus and the management makes sure that the betterment of the students taking admission in this college is their first priority always.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The 3 years course was divided into 6 semesters, and each year there were two semesters. The final result was the cumulative of each SGPA. We had to choose one specialization subject(honors) which was of 10 papers and along with it one pass, one major elective, one minor elective, one compulsory subject, and English. The course curriculum was evenly distributed in each semester which helped in lowering the pressure on students.

Placement Experience

4

The placement you will get from this college depends on the course you have taken admission in. Some self-financing courses have very good placement opportunities while general courses will allow higher studies.

College Events

4.5

There happen to be tons of events around the year. Each department regularly conducts seminars and workshops to help students get updated about the latest trends in the outside world. There is one cultural function and many annual competitions in a year. In addition to this many social events such as Blood Donation Camps, Swachh Bharat Aviyaan, etc take place for the betterment of society and the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it's a government college, the fee structure is very feasible and thus helps the lower class people to also study without any difficulties. Apart from the general courses, there are some self-financing courses which charge extra fees but that is very less compared to other private colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have received the senior merit scholarship of ten thousand annually for three years under the Senior Merit scholarship scheme given by the state government. This also differs from course to course.

Campus Life

4

There are two big fields where the annual sports are conducted. Apart from that, there is one basketball court, one badminton court, three computer labs, one physics lab, one chemistry lab, and two biology labs. There are many extracurricular activities apart from regular subjects which help in refreshing the minds.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very strong on social media platforms like Facebook, Whatsapp, Linkedin. Students also have to get-togethers frequently and stay in touch with each other. Seniors are no less than your friends here. They never make you feel less.

Admission

I filled up the admission form. After the merit list of the first selection was out, I went on the date assigned for the admission and submitted the documents asked for. After proper verification of the documents, I paid the admission fees and got the receipt, library card, roll number, and timetable of the subjects chosen by me.

Faculty

4.5

The college has a very well-educated and experienced faculty. All of them are very helpful and friendly and help the students in every way possible. Their way of teaching has a very different vibe which engages the students in the lecture rather than just jotting down every word spoken by the faculty.
