Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The Geology course is a pretty good course according to the job opportunity it provides. The adventurous side of the course is the most fascinating thing about it. The aspect of the course is the mixture of a different subject such as physics, chemistry, biology and maths.

Internships Opportunities

1

There are no such major internship opportunities available for the students studing in this college. As it is based on a tier3 city,so there is no such chances of getting a job just after your graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the Bsc.Geology in Bhadrak Autonomous college ranges between 2500-3500 The Total Fees for the first yr is approximately 2700 rupees including all the compulsory charges. Similarly for the second yr,it lies in between 2700-2900 and for the third year it is 3500 in total. You can get state and national scholarship simultaneously during our studies if eligible for it.

Campus Life

2.5

The campus life is the best thing of the college. There are many festival and competition takes place in different intervals at our college The library facility is not so good or will say the worst library you will ever see. There are no proper books of any subject and no proper e-library opportunity. The technical supervision is only available for few courses but not up to mark.

Admission

I applied for the ravenshaw college, which is one of the best college in our state. But unfortunately due to 1% less mark,I did not get into that college. Taking about our college,it is one of the top three colleges of the odisha in geology.

Faculty

3

Talking about the Geology department, there are no permanent faculty available for the students. Only two Guest faculties are available which are decent in their teaching methods. One of them is Sunil sir,who is a IIT Dhanbad pass out student and is one of the best faculty i have ever seen.
