Amazing experience

There are pros and cons everywhere. This place is also the same. Of course, some issues arise sometimes but they get manged easily. Overall experience here till now has been very good and full of learnings for me.

The course rural management offered here is very interesting including contextual courses. The courses till now what I have studied were contextual. The course structure is such that which can be related to field experience and it offers research perspectives also.

Placement in our college is very good, most of our seniors are already placed. I went for my first internship called "Action Research Segment". The internship was full of experiences. You get full exposure of rural areas, their challenges, strengths, basically you get to know the people with whom you are supposed to work with after completing the course.

The first event which we celebrated in college was, of course, our Fresher's Party. Along with that, we have many guest lectures giving us the opportunity to interact with rural professionals. Understand their perspective based on their experiences. We also organised conclave on sustainable development and microfinance. These kinds of events give a very broad perspective.

There is nothing like some anonymous fee which one has to pay after getting in or something. The fees are around 7 lac for two years for this course rural management.

No, I didn't opt for scholarship or loan, my father is bearing all my expenses here, but one can opt for education loan if he or she wishes.

Campus life is good here. In a short time we got to complete many courses, so time is limited. But it offers the opportunity of course. Around one- third of my class population is female. We all are from different backgrounds and different places. So, we have a diverse culture here.

Hostel facilities are good here. Girl's and boy's hostels are separate. Mess and hostel both are on the campus itself. On security basis, guards are always there. Two or three caretakers are always present in hostels. The surrounding is also very refreshing and green.

Of course. Our seniors are very helpful and reliable. They also have their own stuff regarding their studies and placements going on, but they help and guide us whenever needed if they can.

I took admission through KIITEEE MGT entrance exam. After clearing the entrance exam the process continues to GDPI. After around 10 days I got the mail about my selection. I chose to join the course because I was interested in working in rural areas and the subjects offered here were contextual and especially the internships full of interesting experiences.

Professors here are very qualified in their field of knowledge and supportive too. They are always ready to help and guide whenever needed. In terms of their knowledge about subjects what they teach is very up to date. They share a lot of valuable experience and knowledge with us.
