Remarks
Overall the college is very good. If a student invest in himself over the period of 4 years then it is for sure that he will get a well paid internship and job. A student must score good to maintain his/her OGPA to make his /her path easier in the recruitment process by companies.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is repetitive, outdated, boring and mostly theoretical. Exam papers are set on the basis of what is taught in class. Majority of questions are from class notes. Basic problem is the way the teacher teaches. Most of the teachers don't know how to teach. They just provide or write notes on board.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are good in non core sector. College doesn't provide internship. Companies visit our campus to provide internship. Overall experience is good as the process of selection is competitive and various rounds are conducted before hiring. Stipend varies with companies. Generally stipend is aproxx 40 thousands per month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is feasible as it depends on students family income. Students also get different scholarship. Most common scholarship is Merit cum Means scholarship MCM. In this scholarship tution fee is waived off Tution fee per semester is 1 lakh Mess fees per semester is 15 thousands And there are some extra charges for library and infrastructure etc.

Campus Life
Labs are not good. Only few of the teaching assistants in lab have good knowledge. Lab is not in sync with class lecture. We have 2 sports ground 1 for football and athletics. 1 for cricket and hockey We also have squash complex We also have 2 badminton court, 2 volleyball court, 2 lawn tennis courts and 2 basketball court IIT ISM DHANBAD also.have a student activity center(SAC). Where all the indoor sports facilities are there. Like billiards, gym, boxing, weightlifting etc
Alumni/Alumna
Very good and robust alumni network in eaeth sciences. They are very helpful in bringing companies to our campus and guidance. Seniors always help juniors in any way possible to make their life easier in the campus.
Faculty
They are very talented but don't know how to teach. IIT ISM DHANBAD publishes lots of research paper every year showing the capability of our faculty. But it is sad to say that most of them are not good at teaching. Most of the students sleep in the class.
