My College Review

My experience about college is very positive. As college is very flexible, not very strict, as I am pursuing UPSC studies so I can focus on that without going to college. College atmosphere is very awesome. Teachers are very helpful and very cooperative and knowledgeable. Overall college is very very good.

Course curriculam is very good. No hectic curriculam. Enough time to pursue your interest other than studies. Exam structure : there is end term exam before Diwali, which is totally internal in nature ie. Papers are set and checked by college teachers, which is of 60marks and these marks are then get converted into 20marks. In second term there is a University exam which is of 80 marks. Thus result is calculated by adding this 20+80 = 100 marks

In courses like Bachelor of Arts there are less opportunities for placements, but there are internship available in some subjects like Psychology and sociology. However, they don't pay stipend. But in courses like Bsc they provide placement. Job Fair is arranged every year in the college.

Main event that is held is "Yuva Saptah" which is organised in January month on the eve of Swami Vivekanand Birth Anniversary. In that many cultural, sports event are held. Other than this there are many departmental wise activities takes place through out the year.

Fee structure is very feasible. Even a student having poor background can get admission here. For bachelor of arts tha fees is approx 9thousand per year. Students belonging to backward communities have to pay less fees.

They don't provide any scholarship as such to students but there are many government scholarship which can be availed by the help of college. But there are programme like Work and learn. In which students have to work for few hour daily and they get paid for it. So they can use this earnings for their studies.

College offer every possible help for achieving excellence in sports. The sport teacher is very good, we have our good sport ground. There are high-tech science labs in the college. There are many extracurricular activities like trekking, elocution etc are also arranged frequently in the college

Yaa.There is a great organisation of Aluminium of the college. They organise on event every year. Also they provide financial help to some economically weak students. Senior students are very helpful, they provide every possible help in studies.

There was direct admission for the students who got above 60% in 12th std. So I got direct admission. For below 60% students there was merit list. Admission process was very easy, it was a task of one day only. Just to fill a simple admission form online and pay the fees at cash counter in the college. At the same time you get college identity card.

Very friendly,co-operative,knowledgeble. Many have shown excellence at International level. And almost every professor is having a doctorate. They even teach if there is one student present in the class.
