My journey

There were a lot of positive things in my university.they provide quality education to students + practical knowledge as well.but no negative thing I found there is no placement drive were organised.

MCA course is good for those who really want to go in it sector.I choose because I prefer to do job in this sector.exam structure is that every semester you need to pass 2 subject out of 4 to go and seat in next semester

There is no placement cell in university.so no chance of placement.only senior have some references from you may got placed in some it companies but it is very difficult to get placement in multinational companies.

No event were celebrated in campus.only fresher cum firewall party getting organised.fund for this event are not given by department or university only 25 fund given by university rest fund students collects by its own to organize such events

Fee structure are very less in university as compared to others university and colleges.it is feasible for all category of students whether they belong to rich or poor family.for me it is feasible even you also got scholarship also.

There are couple of scholarship given like merit wise and post matric.I availed post matric scholarship as I get admission in SC category.amount for post matric scholarship returned my whole admission fee.

In MCA university of Jammu offered 3 labs.one is sunsolar lab,linux and window server lab.university also organized inter department sports meets as well and competition as well with in the university.

No ,I did not opted hostel,hostel rates are genuine as compared to other universities.facility and infrastructure is also not much good but they will provide you library,room,playground etc.but environment is not good in hostels.i

There is no network or channel for alumni tell now.but teacher remains in touch with students through their social media accounts.social media is only way where we have touch with alumni.but there is no directory or channel exist there.

I started preparation with my friend and both passed entrance exam with 14 marks each andl got seat in department of computer science &it , university of jammu in SC category.while we need to attach all required documents along with bank draft which is only mode of payment.

Faculty is very good in university all are well qualified as well.only problem we had that is faculty of ad-hoc.senior teachers only take few classes and ad-hoc teacher are not well experienced and lack of practical knowledge as well.
