Canteen quality is poor. You will not get a single thing to eat there. Location of the campus is also not good. College bus service is also poor. Only one restaurant and an ATM is available. Although it is beside the bus route, you will not be able to reach anywhere.

In my opinion the syllabus is little bit outdated as compared to other universities in India. I'm a student of computer science. Machine learning and artificial intelligence have recently been added. Practical syllabus is also not up to the mark.

Job opportunities are little. As a student of master's degree i have seen total 2 campusing till now. Several MNCs like TATA, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, ADOBE come here. Engineering students get more opportunities than the general students.

Annual function, teachers day celebration, REFLEXON (debate, coding challange, robotics, gaming, seminar, cultural function, photography contest). Students also celebrate the new comer. ( Fresher's party)

Fee structure is almost negligible. Minimum amount is needed to get an admission here. First semester i had to pay around only 3000 , same for the second semester. It is funded by the University of Calcutta itself. The most interesting part is no hidden fees asked for pay later.

No university doesn't provide any scholarships. You can apply for any kind of concession. There are several scholarships available for postgraduate students which arrfunded by the west Bengal. Talk to the staffs , they will guide you to apply and approve the same.

I don't know very much about the other departments, but computer science department labs are very good. They have lot of computers. Most of them are latest models., Runs both UBUNTU and Windows 10,i5 processor. Fully air-conditioned, electricity backups, high-speed optical fiber internet connection available.

Descent Hostel, only INR 1500 per year. They have about 13 hostels at several places. Most of them are located at rajabazar and college Street area. No hostel is available near salt lake city though.

This is a totally ragging free campus. Seniors are very friendly. They will helpful. If you keep communication you will get a lot of information and suggestion. Join thire pubic social network group likr Facebook and whatsapp if possible to stay updated.

Through an entrance exam conducted by Calcutta University. They published several merit list. I got my opportunity on the 3rd list. The merit rank depends on both the entrance exam score and bachelor degree marks.

Although the faculty and staff are good. Staffs have friendly nature. They are very humble. Office staffs are always ready to help. Management team is also good of this campus. I have no argument with the staffs and other management team.
