Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Course Curriculum was designed in such a way that during the first two semesters we were given theories related to development sectors. like what is the definition of Development from the lens of different scholars. Than in the last two semesters we were sent to the field for applying those class learning in the field. In the same time we were asked to apply our mind and learn as much as you can from the field.

Internships Opportunities

College internship was very helpful for us. I got a chance to work with Chhattisgarh Social Audit Unit. There I worked as a social auditor and inspected the work done under NREGA.

Placement Experience

4

The placement is reasonable. I am presently working with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The average salary goes between 4-5 lacs/annum

College Events

3.5

As our college has four branches in the country with Mumbai having the main campus most of our events were conducted centrally. Every year during December Youth festival was celebrated in Tulzapur(Maharashtra).

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very much reasonable considering the fee structure of other social science colleges in India. We were made to pay semester wise. If you are a GOI (Government of India) candidate which means If you are a reserved candidate i.e ST/SC or OBC you are entitled to get Scholarship from your respective state.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was getting state scholarship which consist of Full scholarship which consist of Tuition and hostel fee.

Campus Life

3

Campus life was nice and pleasant. Once in a week we organize a debate on any topic. We also use to play different games in the evening like Badminton, Cricket, Basketball.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel are nice and decent. You will get electricity and water facility all the time. The hostel was equipped with 24*7 Wi-Fi connectivity. Mess was also good you can decide the menu for you all three times.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no such senior junior rift as we see in different colleges of our country. Seniors are very supportive but we did not had any interaction with our alumni

Exam Structure

Our college follows semester system so we were having exams on every six months. We also use to write mid-sem in every three months. The mode of exams consist of Presentations, Assignment, Book Review and End semester exams.

Faculty

4

The faculty were very helpful. Considering my personal experience I was a very shy boy in the college and was afraid of speaking any thing during class room discussion. But slowly and gradually they nurtured me and motivated me, as a result I gained confi
