This college is good from a fees point of view because very fewer fees are required compared to other private or government engineering colleges. The hostel fee is 1800 per year. Placement is quite well in computer science and information technology branches. Faculties are good nowadays. Overall it is a good college.

There are 8 STREAMS in B.E- Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science And Engineering, Electronics & Telecom Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial & Production Engineering. The course curriculum is quite well. The course consists of all the syllabus which anybody opts for an IES exam. The course curriculum is rightly identified and designed. Rest is left on your consensus to get the future option at your own sake. We have two mid-semester exams. Each semester is followed by internal viva (taken by college faculties) and external viva (other college faculties) then semester exam. External viva can be taken before an exam or after the exam. In Semester exams there are a total of 70 marks for each subject and the rest marks are from viva + assignment + practical files + mid-semester test.

Placements for mechanical, electrical and civil engineering branch students are not well, wherein college only L&T company and sometimes Reliance power offer jobs mostly 5 students from core branch rest students have their way themself you either pursue M.TECH or find your job yourself. For Computer Science and Infomation Technology departments, there are many companies like TCS, IBM, INFOSYS, WILRO, etc. No JEC Jabalpur do not offer internship for industrial training, they sign up our application forms and allow us to get an internship from else anywhere you could be based on self connections and recommendations. Sometimes you also get a chance to get internships in IIT Delhi based on the recommendation of college faculty members.

In the first year, you will enjoy the Induction program from our college for 21 days of motivation and a picnic will be organized by the college. The induction program is only for first-year students. Then there are various cultural groups in the college open mic fest are organized by the literary club and in winter vacation some cultural fest was organized this year. Some events like HINDI MAHOTSAV, PRAPANCH-2016, SPORTS FESTIVAL, ALUMNI MEET, MILAN, AAVAHAN.

The fee structure in JEC is quite satisfying, for general category students you have to pay 12500 fees per semester and for sc/st scholarships rest you have to pay for exam fees of 1200 per semester and if you met any backlogs 350 is up there for each back paper. There are 1800 fees per year for hostels.

There is sc / st scholarship for backward students worth 40000 per year out of which you get 24000 deducted as college fees per year remaining for general students you have to apply for NEST exams and other private scholarship programmes. There is no such scholarship on the behalf of the college. This year college management rain burst the fees to all students who got ranked in the GATE exam.

In Jabalpur engineering college there are many extracurricular activities groups. They are very active in their field. College hostels are really awesome after the innovation of hostels. Hostels are good in JEC Jabalpur you will get proper living in hostels there is a separate PMT hostel for sc /st students food quality is although fine. In jec hostel private mess is run that's why sometimes MESS get off without any previous notice.

Alumni meet has enjoyed like a festival called MILAN. Our connection between alumni and senior students are quite well. In MILAN There are many Alumni's come on campus and share their valuable experiences and give us their valuable feedback.

I have cleared JEE mains in 2016 and got 32330 ranks. I am from the general category and got a mechanical branch in this college. JABALPUR engineering college is an autonomous engineering college and fully government college of Madhya Pradesh. Separate counseling and seat allotment are done for JEE mains and class 12 marks. Seats are allotted in MP BE Admission on the basis of choices filled by the candidates, merit, and availability of seats. Candidates will have to report to the allotted institute after MP BE seat allotment for documents verification.

The faculty members to students ratio are low in Jabalpur engineering college, although some faculties are very nice in Mechanical engineering, computer science, and industrial engineering. The electrical engineering branch has fewer faculty while the civil branches have regulated faculties. Faculties are talented, some faculties are totally useless but some faculties guide you very nicely. Faculties have their Ph.D. and techs from various IITs. Nowadays there are many faculties are from IIT And they are so educated and talented and know how to teach in a good way.
