College life experience

In every institute there are plus and negative points. Our college has many plus points in faculty, infrastructure and other extra co-circular activities. But there are some negative points also like college library is opened only in college hours, but I think it is opened for 24 hours.It is very beneficial for hostlers.

Course curriculum is very good. If a student studied then it is easy, if he didn't then he might be failed in his exams. But in my course curriculum is very good. Still I don't give any exam in college so do not describe the exam structure clearly.

I think there is good placement and and job opportunities by doing b. Sc. In my College there is a placement cell.No our college doesn't provide any internship. So in our college there is no internship so I cannot explain it clearly.

In our college there are many events that are celebrated like blood donation camp, college Freshers, college sports day, Gandhi jayanti celebration and college election. In our college Panjab University students Union won the college elections.

I think the fee structure is not feasible or expensive but it is in between. I cannot say that every body can afford this, there are some students who cannot pay fees. But almost all students can afford fee.

In our college there are many scholarships offered by government. Such scholarships are Inspire, National scholarship portal , Sita ram jindal scholarship, PANJAB UNIVERSITY Scholarship, Haryana students scholarship scheme etc.

In our college national cadet corps is of top class. There are three wings in our college army, navy and airforce respectively. From four, five years Army wing won the trophy of best college. I am also a part or NCC air wing. Air wing also provide many opportunities for cadets like flying, shooting and aero modeling etc. There are all type of sports in our college. The labs are very good and well equipped.

Yes, I have opted hostel. The college hostel's infrastructure is very good. All the things are done on mapping system. And when we talk about its facilities the hostel provides many facilities like study room, T. V room, indoor sports complex and a beautiful garden

Our college alumni network is very good. There are specific office for alumni. Our seniors are very good and friendly, they help us at the time of admission in many ways by providing all the facilities. So our seniors and alumni network is very helpful.

Firstly I field admission form on www.dhe.chd.in, in defense category. Then first merit list was come and my name was in this list under defense category. Then after 10 - 15 days I come to college and take admission their under B. Sc (N. M). This was whole admission procedure.

Our college faculty is very good, helpful, experienced and hard working. They stand with us, specially our chemistry department. All the teachers in chemistry department are very helpful. They clear all the doubts. But all the faculties are very good.
