Remarks

The college is very less supportive to students in placement and concentrates on getting their placement records better.

Entrance Preview

I took MHTCET Got a score of 83. Chose mechanical because it gives a option of having exposure of all engineering fields and switch as per choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum is bit out dated from industry but the faculty is good and tries to keep students updated and encourage students to go for internships so that they get ample knowledge and exposure.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internships in Hindustan Aeronautica limited,Bangalore and Essar steel India Ltd. They were the main reason that let me concentrate on a specific field.

Placement Experience

The companies which came to campus were honestly IT companies and eventually 21 were placed from eligible 104 students. Students from mechanical options have very less options and are forced to go for IT companies.

College Events

This college basically has Sinhgad Karandak which includes Technical,Cultural and sports festivals in it. They are organized on a grand stage with a approximate budget of 20 crores.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not take any loans or scholarship but have seen students take educational loans.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. The campus js situated on a hill with green and spacious area. The gender ratio is 1000 to 600 to be approximate. People from different part of country come here to study. You get to learn about other cultures and people. Many workshops and fests. Are organized that lets students blend amongst amongst themselves irrespective of caste,race economic status etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fees is average around 50k. But facility provided is exemplary which includes clean toilets,housekeeping,free WiFi,sports complex etc. Food is OK not that good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni and seniors are very helps. They keeping on guiding on how to avoid silly mistakes and take right decisions.

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.
