Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is apt as per the standard of Kannur University. The university prescribed syllabus was adapted in our college.

Placement Experience

Since the college is not into professional studies, the placement record is very bad. There is very limited assistance for the placement.

College Events

The college has many clubs associations within the campus like Energy Conservation Club, Debate club, Health Education Club, etc. Sports activities are also highly promoted on the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for my B.Com program was very good. Since it is a government-sponsored university the fee is very less. I paid only 2000 Rs. for the entire year. All the additional charges were also pretty nominal.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship programs like e-France are available in the college. The government seat is almost free of cost and there are other options for the funding as well.

Admission

The admission is direct. They only see your class 12 marks. The cut off for the B. Com go as high as 95% marks.

Faculty

The faculty is very talented and more than helpful. We would approach any faculty, at any time and they will help us. The college runs a computer center with the objective of providing computer education offering short term courses for teachers and students of the college at affordable rates.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

When I decided to Apply for masters I had applied in 3 Colleges- Sree Narayana College kollam, Fatima Mata National College and BJM Chavara. And I found out that best campus best facilities and good teachers are there in SBC kollam. So that I prefer SNC kollam.
