One of milestones of my educational path

Asmita College is one of the top colleges of Architecture in the Maharashtra. It AICTE certified and caters to the need of the students craving to be an architect. The fee is nominal, facilities provided are good. They even offer you a gym and a swimming pool at nominal rates.

The updated course structure includes aspects of Visual Studies, Graphic Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, Design of Outdoor Spaces and Public Places, or Town Planning. The course was quite informative, especially when complemented with the studio hours and site visits.

They provides training and placement programmes. They maintain their own placement cell and job placement to its student efficiency. Average package drawn is around 3 lakh and above per annum.

We celebrated many cultural events, which consisted of many competitions like fashion show, dance performance, cultural skits, etc. Even the faculty members constantly pushed us towards participation in extracurricular activities in order to boost bonding among the students.

The one year fee for the B. Arch course is around 1 lacs, which was fine by me, since the facilities provided are good. The placements could have been better.

The architecture college is located on Mira Road(E). The college is just five minutes away from the Mira Road Station. The classrooms are air conditioned and have state-of-the-art modern educational equipment like wireless LCD projectors to teach the students in a friendly manner.

Admissions are on the basis of NATA scores. I applied online for the B. Arch program.

The faculty members are qualified and enthusiastic about teaching. The principle is an IIT alumnus and other teachers are also qualified. Especially Pranali Mam and others are quite cooperative and caring and genuinely cares about a student’s career.
