Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure was updated and as per the latest trends. It helped in shaping my beliefs and taught me their application. The faculty was another reason why the institute was good academically.

Placement Experience

Placements are provided to most of the students. The college management organizes special training programs to prepare the students for the interview and other screening processes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for my Masters program was very less. The college offers a quality education to the students who can’t afford it otherwise. College and hostel are affordable as compare to other colleges providing the same course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship options are available for the students who excel in academics. No appreciation for sports persons.

Campus Life

Campus of the college is very small and is located in the industrial area of the Mohali village. Student crowd and college life experience is not Satisfactory. College canteen is very small. And maintenance of the college is not good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very much budget friendly, and it’s the only Fashion Tech. institute which provides accommodation facility at such a convenient rates. Hostel rooms are spacious and hygienic. Though, it has poor water supply which can be improved.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Admission

I got admission on the basis of the college level entrance test. The entrance test was followed by a situation based test. Final round of the selection process was an Interview, which was a pretty basic one. NIIFT was closest to my house and I wanted to join my family business (which I did and expanded).

Admission:

First I reached them in their toll-free number on July 20th, 2018, I got confirmed whether I'm eligible or not then I paid an initial payment by July 25th. I came here by August 6th made all the documentation, verification everything to enroll as student.

The infrastructure of our college is good. It has a good building. There are many spacious classrooms. The library is air-conditioned with photocopy facility. The computer lab is air-conditioned, which can accommodate 60-65 students at a time. There are weaving Lab with handlooms, pattern making lab and sewing labs for students. There is a spacious auditorium and also a multimedia room. The college also has a tuck shop, where students can get stationery and stuff related to college work. Degree in Textile designing

The application form provided by the college can be obtained from any of NIIFT centres but they are also provided online on their official website. NIIFT select students on the basis of the entrance exam followed by interview and situation tests.so, it's not easy to get in this Institute you have to be very creative and talented. I selected textile designing as it's different and I love how the printing is done on the clothes so I choose this Institute. And it's the best decision I have ever made....Read More
