Remarks

It was ranked in top 10 and had good reviews.Also quite affordable compared to private colleges for fashion design. I always wanted to pursue fashion design and this college was my 2nd priority after NIFT.

Course Curriculum Overview

I feel a lack of industrial exposure, also the irresponsible behavior teachers nobody is sharing knowledge they are just doing a formality of syllabus and it's everywhere. If you are there, get ready for politics and teacher's buttering.About faculty Mrs. Bharti is a good teacher for textile science.

No. But as I'm applying nowadays in place for giving stipend companies are asking for money because they know it's the need of the hour. Nobody would help you to get internships untill you butter your teacher if you can't, find brands and apply in many possible

As I mentioned college Don't even invite any company to the show. If companies visit they will hire you for really low salary or for a job lesser than your capabilities. Like a Designer would be hired for sales person in a mall. There are successful people and start-ups but you need good money for that. Arman randhava, preach official, sherya Varmani are examples.

College Events

Campus life is really boring, good if you make friends. No festivals, no events college Organize. Also the very important final fashion show is done once in a degree that too really a formality with no designers or industrial people invited. It's so dump to invite politicians to a fashion show. You just get good pictures out of it, huge bills and nothing else.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is quite okay, according to the strength. Sports facility and wifi is null. GC(garment construction) lab is very well equiped. library have plenty of books but in 3 years it's hard to understand what to read where to start, lack of guidance.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are made for 2 and allowed for 3 girls. Infrastructure is poor. Washrooms are even worse, no WiFi, no hygiene, no permission to go out. Leave all this being a designer no study tables to work. Hostel fee is 15000/sem excluding food, sounds relevant? Wouldn't after joining.Hostel seats are few.

Placement Experience:

Yes, placement drive so comes to college it's solely on the student ability to crack their dream package. Student have opt a pretty handful package. Once again I say it's all depends upon the student to opt for INCAMPUS OR OUTCAMPUS.

The examination difficulty is depends on how you studied but in this collage difficulty level is little bit though but if you studies well then it will be easier for you and the examination halll will strict no support or no copying

An Average Chitkara Life

Placement Experience:

From my knowledge I guess from 2nd semester the students are eligible for placements and there are multiple companies visited and made offers as well even in Chitkara on daily basis companies comes such as Aditya birla group and wipro and many more umm 825000 is highest in my knowledge and percentage of students getting placement would be 100 out of 60 most probably and plans after getting degree is to study further and doing masters from abroad

Placement Experience:

Companies are come for hiring students. But for our departments they are very less companies comes. Last year in interior design only 4 students were placed. And in design department the highest placement package is 7LPA only.

one of best university in india

Remarks:

CU is very big university so if someone has some problem it may take some time to resolve but it will resolve for sure. ci have student care center which is open 24x7 and where anyone can share their problem or complaint against anyone every student is allowed to meet higher authority directly some things which I don't like is the behaviour of security guard but then I think they all are doing it for us only.

The infrastructure of our college is good. It has a good building. There are many spacious classrooms. The library is air-conditioned with photocopy facility. The computer lab is air-conditioned, which can accommodate 60-65 students at a time. There are weaving Lab with handlooms, pattern making lab and sewing labs for students. There is a spacious auditorium and also a multimedia room. The college also has a tuck shop, where students can get stationery and stuff related to college work. Degree in Textile designing

The application form provided by the college can be obtained from any of NIIFT centres but they are also provided online on their official website. NIIFT select students on the basis of the entrance exam followed by interview and situation tests.so, it's not easy to get in this Institute you have to be very creative and talented. I selected textile designing as it's different and I love how the printing is done on the clothes so I choose this Institute. And it's the best decision I have ever made....Read More
