Remarks

I did MBA in Agriculture from College of Agriculture, Pune. our college is affiliated to Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth Shivaji Nagar (MPKV Pune) and approved by ICAR. I will definitely recommend my college to the students who are looking for an agricultural centric professional program.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is prescribed by MPKV. For the first two semesters, we learned a general MBA in which all the disciplines of MBA were covered. Rest of the semesters covered the specialized management of the Agribusiness.

Placement Experience

Some of the major recruiters from our institute include IFFCO, Zuwari, Mahyco, Mahindra, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, and many other reputed companies. The overall placement is good at our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I paid INR 79,000 per year for my 4 years program. The college is very affordable and has a decent infrastructure to support the high quality of academics they provide.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are offered to the meritorious students and students who are from an economically weaker background.

Hostel Facilities

The college has five hostels. All the hostels are pretty good and spacious. The hostels have accommodation facilities for guests as well.

Admission to the MBA program is on the basis of academic performance especially the marks obtained by during the graduation program.

All faculty members are well qualified and supportive. The supportive faculty guided us during the projects and field visits. We even consulted career options with them. The college provides a convenient platform

Enlist on mcaer website admission based on merit basis. mhcet exam 60 percent weightage and hsc marks 40 percent weightage. admissions are giben on merit status of caste quota. the course is good and future oriented. I chose as it is near my house and is easisly reachable for bus stops and railway stations.

Review about the College of agriculture latur

Remarks:

Very beautiful campus. There is a very big playground for the students. Lots of games are taken on that ground. All campus is surrounded by the green garden. There are also field plots of students for the research purpose so that students can do research. College library, hostel, canteen, mess, auditorium, badminton court everything is best

An Imaginary ideal college

I had applied for other colleges of Agriculture field only. But for answering the question this college is located in the centre of Pune city. No, I didn't get any rejection from any college as I had this college as my first preference over all. The admission process for my college is to pass the Common Entrance Test exam conducted by Maharasthra board by acquiring a good percentage (caste wise variable) the cutoffs are like : open category - 98-99 percentile Ews category - 96-98 percentile OBC - 92 percentile ... In a Brief about College of Agriculture Pune

Eligibility - 10+2 from any recognised board with any stream in +2. You can find the application form on the MCAER website. There you can fill required details. The entrance exam of ICAR UG or MH CET is mandatory. Earlier they used to consider +2 marks also but now they've stopped. There is 1 seat reserved for the son/daughter of defence employees.
