Remarks

On the whole, the college is good. But be sure, to check the fee details and verify all the details about the loan or scholarship along with the court stay the college has. And as said, nothing is perfect, you can enjoy a smooth and easy graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college is affiliated to JNTUH. Like in any JNTUH affiliated colleges, we have the same curriculum. We have semester system and in each sem, you would have 2 mids and one external; while for labs, you will have one internal and one external. Lab externals are conducted in college, whereas theory externals are conducted in other colleges to where the college buses would provide transportation for all students.

Placement Experience

4

As the years are passing, i am getting to see an improvement in college placement methods and system. Many companies are showing interest to our college and also the administration is trying to improve our skills by introducing aptitude classes, java classes for all branches, workshops etc.

College Events

4

The first comes the biggest and most exciting event for all the first years, 'Freshers Day'. Every department and every second year class would host the freshers day for their juniors. And about the fun from it, i can't burst your bubble, you see it yourself. Then comes the other departmental events and then the club events. These all goes throughout the year with some being grand and have a huge buzz and while some don't even get to gather a handful of audience. The final and my favorite, 'Nirvana'. it is the college fest celebrated for three days, Technical, Cultural and DJ (Last year, replaced by all-clubs show on a big stage which became a super-hit and turned all the tables). For other events, you need to see it yourself.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is very expensive. Around 1.6 lakhs + 8/5k (Varies with branch) for normal students who are not getting any scholarships. But for merit students like me, who get below 10k or other castes with any rank and meet the scholarship requirements would get full scholarship (Which would be 1 lakh or maybe 1.6 lakh, according to the government) and for other scholarship holders, would get 35k. but on the whole, it is a huge fee. And many students tried revolting this year about this issue, but it stayed unchanged. So, be sure to verify the fee structure with the administration before you admit here.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you get a government scholarship, you just need to submit the required proofs, documents and wander around the administration block for two or three days, and that's it, you will get your full reimbursement or 35k reimbursement but to get a loan, you need to wander the whole college for weeks until you want to give up on it and then, you may or may not get a loan.

Campus Life

4

Sports- I am never interested in sports, so, it doesn't matter to me. But, on the whole, the sports in the college is great and many active students daily play sports and actively participate in inter-college sports competitions. Labs- they are great and consist latest equipment in most of the labs, but some have very less and old equipment. Extracurricular activities- we have all kinds of clubs and regularly conduct all types of events.

Hostel Facilities

4

I don't stay in hostel, but from my friends opinion, it would get 6/10 rating. and most students don't prefer the college hostels. And there is no scarcity for private hostels near the college. If wanted, you can even take a room nearby the college and live with your friends.

Alumni/Alumna

We just conducted an alumni event around two months ago, where many alumni attended and had a lot of fun with dances, songs, mimicry and many other entertainments. Seniors have been helpful to us, but before you ask them, none would help you, but after you ask them, they will help you until the issue is resolved.

Admission

You can get admission into this college through three methods. 1) Through Eamcet: you need to have below 10k rank(For general), it varies with different castes. 2) Through B-Category: You need to have a good rank in JEE Mains, but you won't get a scholarship through this. 3) Through Management: You need to pour your money to the college and that's it. I got admitted through EAMCET with a rank 8432 in year 2017. And i get a merit scholarship.

Faculty

4.5

Like the say, "Nothing is perfect in the world, other than the word perfect", the faculty has flaws here and there, but most of them are well experienced and good at the subject. BTW mot of the faculty are OK to excellent in English, so, no don't be worried if you are from other parts and don't know telugu.

Placement Experience:

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.
