My college

The college is very much involved throughout the year in a lot o activities. There are technical committees for techies, the college has an arts and music committee- THE kalaarag, which has won many zonal and national level competitions.

The course curriculum is actually completely ridiculous. BUT this issue is not specific to RAIT but to all colleges in India. Whats happening here is the teaching of a system of education which is outdated by 25 years.

The placements in our college take place. Many companies come for recruitment. Many MNCs are involved. The avg highest package through out the year is 12 LPA. The avg. is 3.5LPA. And approx 90%+ grt placed from college

The college is very much into events. Events are celebrated in the college throughout the year. At the start of the odd semester, there is FE orientation then ganpati for 5 days, then teachers day, then techfest. The highlight of the even sem is the annual cultural festival of the college -HORIZON

The fee structure is moderate.as compared to other universities, the fee structure of Mumbai university is moderate and feasible. The fees varies from caste to caste. And the exact updated fee structure can be found on rait.ac.in

There are scholarships for economically backward class students. They have to present a document proof to certify the EBC critera and they are then eligible for scholarship. There are no scholarship for general caste students. Also each branch topper gets a price of 50000 rs every year

the college is known for extracurriculars. The labs are all up to the standard required by the Mumbai university. All the labs have AC. They college has a very prestigious sports record. The college also has a sports committee which arranges and carries out selection for all sports and also hosts the annual sports gala.

The college has a excellent alumni network. The college also has annual meet for the aluminis. The college alumini are very helpful. They have set up the alumini website too. On the website, alumini can help and students are given a platform to find solutions to their problems

I got addmission the college through my JEE mains score. You can get in the college through the engineering cap rounds. There are three online cap rounds and then one offline counselling round. You can also get addmision through CET score

The faculty of the college is actually quite good. They have excellent qualifications and experience. Some of the faculty are doing their post graduation and PHD. While some have remarkable papers on their filed of study. Some are IITIANS.
