Remarks

A college that provides study area for each and every student whether he is strong or weak in studies. Students get chance to prove themselves in any field they like. Just a bit issue of security unless our is one of the best in our region.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Bsc. Biotechnology is a very futuristic course as it will have a great demand in upcoming years in the medical sector. There is a six set of semester for whole graduation with a separate set of exams for every semester.

Placement Experience

3

The placement of this college corresponds to the placements of average colleges. Yes, students get higher placements and bigger companies do visit our college. If we say about internship, yes there is something for some of tge courses but not for all.

College Events

4

Our college is very much active in the cultural programs and social programs. Every year there is a fresher party for new students in the starting of the session and farewell party for the final year students in the ending. Apart from this there is cultural programme every year in the middle.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of this college is very feasible and also very easy for a lower middle class family to pay. As there is an average of 20k for an year for most of the under graduate courses. Therefore, it is very less as compared to other private running colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are scholarship tests held in the college. And also some privately financial help for those who need. At present i m not availing any scholarship but i am aware of these tests in the college.

Campus Life

3.5

If we speak about extra curricular activities - there are labs for each and every subject which comes in the line of science like physics chemistry biology. And more the 4 labs fir each subject. And also a big stadium for sports and separate coach for every game.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, seniors in our college are very helpful and kind. When i was a fresher i helped by them in providing notes and knowing the college properly. And also there are no traces of ragging in our college.

Admission

I had gone through a counselling session in which i got the admission on the second day of counselling. As there were a separate pool for UT students and the outside students it was a little difficult to get the admission but i had the marks and i made it.

Faculty

4

Faculty of this college is indeed very good and helpful. Some teachers are so humble and helpful that they are always present there for student's help. And also a bunch of teachers for same subject and almost all of them are very skilled.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a Science student , I loved my curriculum as it provides application parts with laboratories . I choose this course as I always wanted to learn more about science and its various fields. For me overall curriculum is good and have moderate level but I would suggest to reduce the syllabus little bit so that most of the students can learn whole syllabus Exams are being conducted regularly as per the University guidelines.

DAV College does not offer strong campus placements for pure science courses like B.Sc. Biotechnology, The college has an active placement cell. In the science field, placements are rare unless you're in job-oriented programs

Course Curriculum Overview:

It really depends upon the course itself. A good curriculum includes preparing students for what's out there. Faculty here teaches the core concepts along with staying up to date with the trends and new technologies, it helps to connect the theory part with practicals. Therefore our course is relevant and comprehensive.

Curriculum is prepared well. I chose medical as i was a medical student. Curriculum is prepared in such a wau that it will help you out in the real world too. Improvement is required in the books as some of the books are out dated. Timing of exams are accurate we get enough time to prepare for the exam and difficulty level is moderate.
